You're guessing is not quite what they were going for. They want to make the city more pedestrian friendly and mobile for those that don't have vehicles.
what about all the bums and homeless drug addicts that hang around that entire area.. whats gonna happen to them.. i dont see any of them in those pictures..
Until they move the homeless shelters that people don’t want in their neighborhood, it’ll always be a problem. But it should get better once the residential population increases. The same thing you complain about, is what all major cities face. Some are much much worse than Dallas.

The convention center is already a small city….but I guess we need to be big to beat out other competitors.
