About the home
The 5-bedroom, 6-bath home located on 671 Lincoln Ave. in Winnetka, Illinois. The house's exterior was used as the McCallister's family home in the 1990 Christmas classic "Home Alone," and the 1992 sequel "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," starring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister.
The house was built in 1921 and is over 9,100 square feet. It also features two laundry rooms, a gym, a private movie theater room and an indoor sports court.
The interior of the home today has a minimal and modern black-and-white style, and looks very different from the home in the movie where Kevin McCallister defended himself from burglars, which was decorated in a more classic Christmas style.

The current owners ruined the original house with a multimillion dollar addition in a failed attempt to dissuade tourists.
