Just an FYI alpha Pokémon also get the Jumbo mark! Take your Alpha Pokémon to the size checker in West Messagoza. Any Pokémon you transfer from Scarlett, Violet, Sword, Shield, Lets Go , Brilliant. Diamond Shining Pearl, can get the Pioneer Ribbon. Just take a pic at the photo studio in Jubelife Village.
That’s what I did to get a Wyrdeer in a premier ball. Catch and breed a Stantler in SV with a premier ball, breed it with my 6IV Ditto for a 5IV Stantler, send to home, send to PLA, evolve, send to home, send to SV, and there’s the premier ball Wyrdeer.
great advice that no one really shares! i was thinking the other day how to evolve porygon with one Nintendo Switch and the games PLA and pokemon Scarlet.. Low and behold Porygon was sent to PLA through home, evolved, then sent back through home to my Scarlet version. Great thing to know when only using one game system 🙂!
Thanks for your comment! 😄 The fact that Pokémon HOME stores the original information on the Pokémon based on its home game, even if it has undergone evolution in another game, is a really helpful yet unclear feature. I didn't know myself until making this video, to be honest,
this almost scientific method driven content is amazing! I absolutely love the video and I was in much need of all the info you show here. hope you consider making more content like this, great job!
Mini and Jumbo Marks given by the hiker in Mesagoza should work on any Pokémon no matter what game it was sourced from (as long as they fit the size requirement). I assume there is some hidden flag set to "ON" within the code for an Alpha Pokémon from Legends: Arceus. This same flag carries over to HOME and then SV. I believe this is what makes the Alpha Mark exclusive to those Pokémon only.
one interesting thing; even though EVs dont affect stats in legends arceus, defeating wild pokemon does give your pokemon EVs (though they arent visible and dont do anything). transferring them back to sv then shows the evs correctly.
Has anyone else noticed that transferring Pokemon from SV or BDSP into Legends can sometimes cause them to have a strange ball icon when sending them back into Pokemon Home? It appears to be some kind of glitch, and only happens some of the time. I think it may have to do with evolving a pokemon while they are in Legends. The problem goes away once you send them back into their game of origin.
Here's the rule: If your Pokémon travels through time when going between games (aka to/from PLA), it will be in a Strange Ball within the game it is visiting until it returns to its game of origin!
@@GameSetTex I'm not talking about their in-game pokeballs. Im talking about how they appear on the HOME screen. Even if I dont have any other game selected, Pokemon are still appearing in strange balls when they are boxed on the server.
@@GameSetTex Yeah. I dont know if its something specific to my account of if its a system wide glitch. I noticed it when I was completing my Sinnoh dex from BDSP all in Pokeballs. I was transferring some to LA to evolve and when I brought them back they were like that.
@@Stonefallow Maybe if the Pokémon comes from a game where the ball doesnt exist, home will also show it with the strangeball. (just like if you catch a pikachu in BDSP, transfer it to Legends and then from legends back to home, home will not show its ability)
They both appear to be hexagonal yes, but my guess is that it connects more with a Tera crystal and/or a Pokémon stat wheel (biology). Thanks for commenting!
Also any EVs your pokemon has in SwSh BdSp SV will be removed when switching them to another game. For example if I use my totally stacked Sw save to make some perfect raid mons with IVs and EVs maxed. They will keep the IVs but not EVs when they are moved to SV.
Thanks for your question. One cannot transfer Pokémon into Legends that are not present in the code such as Sprigatito or Dragonite. I don't think Yuzu will be any better unless you can somehow access a modded version of Legends and HOME that allow the transfer of such Pokémon (not an endorsement).
@@GameSetTex if you are about to try I would love to watch. Pokemon Legends Arceus had to many Spinx than it should had, we could had more Sinnoh Pokemons related to story , sword and shield too.
@@Real_Faygo Which starter Pokémon did you transfer out of PLA? If it is one of the Hisui starters, you cannot put their original evolution forms back into PLA.
Thanks for the question! Once a Pokémon from Legends: Arceus is transferred into HOME and then into, for example, Scarlet, it is randomly assigned one of its normal abilities and a Tera Type (that matches one of its standard types). These assignments stick with the Pokémon even if it is transferred back into Legends: Arceus and then back into Scarlet.
Yes. You can transfer the Cyndaquil (Hisuian), Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Oshawott (Hisuian) and Rowlet (Hisuian) lines between Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Scarlet/Violet.
Oh, I think you meant "Level 3" as their final evolution stage. Yes, regular Decidueye, Typhlosion, and Samurott cannot be transferred to PLA. Only their Hisuian forms can be transferred back and forth.
@@joel198d That's a good question. I don't believe 3DS VC Pokémon will have trouble evolving in any of the Switch games. If the Cyndaquil/Typhlosion is in PLA, it will have the same bio as Rhyhorn (3:50). If it is currently in HOME, SwSh, BDSP, or SV, it will likely say that it was caught in the Johto region.
Thanks for the question! After performing an additional investigation, my conclusion is that it is simply a side effect of entering a game (i.e. Legends: Arceus) with a completely different attack learnset and stat distribution system than the mainline series. An observation I made was that the Legends: Arceus ID No. of a Pokémon I caught in Scarlet was randomized to a different 6-digit number than my Hisui trainer's ID No., but the Scarlet and Brilliant Diamond ID Nos. of a Pokémon I caught in Legends: Arceus was set to match the ID No. of the respective games' trainer. Weird.
I did something similar I moved a few pokemon from let's go pikachu into the games they could go into and evolved leveled them up and they would not go back into let's go
