- Revisiting the history of the GI Joe Adventure Team from 1970 to 1976. Also some discussion about the Adventures of GI Joe line from 1969, and the short-lived 1977-1978 Super Joe figure that was the size of the Mego and Big Jim figures. We'll also quickly revisit the start of the military era 1964 GI Joe line that was ushered in by Stan Weston and Hasbro's very own Don Levine.
Join Ken as well as Ed from Akxion Figs, Jim Largo of Largo's Lair, and the Toy Sorceress of Toy Habits as we revisit some toy histories!

Thanks for inviting me to be part of this Ken. This is a great introductory video into the huge world of the GiJoe Adventure Team!❤❤
Happy to have you on, Ed! Your insights and experiences went a long way to getting this video done. Thanks for all you did.
Buck Roger’s 1979 I thought they had swivel battle grip but my mistake they are straight arm. But for sure o ring. Now I wonder if they are the first o ring figures ? Not sure if there was anything before it.
Love the editing choices you made here, Ken. It is amazing.
Thx Allison!
Awesome video Ken and company, well done!
🤜🤛
Lived it. Awesome time of imagination. Took theses guys on outdoor adventures (and lost a few). The play pattern of 1 doll and then additional equipment as needed is a huge reason I’m a gear guy. Have maybe a few incomplete dolls left and a sandwich bag of worn-out broken parts from years of play. I regret NONE of it.
Fun bit: the AT “peace” symbol comes from the Appalachian Trail logo.
Sounds like a fun time! And thanks for the bit about the AT symbol 👍
Hey Ken you need to make a Heuy for the line for Delta 17 that would be fantastic and everyone would love it.
Great video Ken! I enjoyed this Time Machine ride!👊😁
Thx Woodman! It was one of my rare trips back to the 70s.
what the FROCK! another awesome video! cool collaboration there. i half expected to see Ace in there, that dude knows a ton about 12" joe's
Frocked hair! I had no idea Ace was big into the original Joes! Cool!
You all did an amazing job on this one. I feel this may be your best video yet not that O don’t love all the others it’s just that I really enjoyed how you put this one together. 👏👏👏👏
Thx Will! I had some amazing collaborators to thank for their help!
Just random but mark on your calendar Super7 GIJoe o-ring preorder 29 of July on super7 site I gather. they do look good. But Delta17 figures are above the rest. I just want some more BATS lol
@@JoePal-c3n cool!
Awesome video!
Thx Marc!!
Great video
🍻
You can really see how the DNA of this (with the bad guys, the grip, and the specializations) and the original line are important to ARAH.
For sure!
I did have one 12 inch GIJoe and the 6 wheel craft
Awesome.
Live at 6:40 PM (EST), what an odd time, you should have gone all out and done something like 6:43 🙂
I suppose I could go back and change it for giggles...

Replay crew
Still part of the crew!
I also had some 12 cowboys and a bionic man and I think there was a million dollar man. One of them had silver Crome arms. lol all sold off in a garage sale. lol
Lol. Story of our lives. If only we still all had our old toys.
YO JOE!!!
Yo Joe!
Yo Ken!
Yo Johnny!
