The BEST bbq sauce / 10 store bought bbq sauce

Me and Jesse taste test 10 bbq sauces from the grocery store to find out which one we like the best. My list goes
1) Famous Dave's Rich and Sassy
2) Sweet baby Ray's
3) Stubb's
4) Jim bean
5)Paul Newman
6)KC Masterpiece
7)Bulleseye
8) Heinz bbq
9) Rib Rack
10) open pit eeeeewwwwwwww

I've had Open Pit most of my life. It's best for chicken or ribs on a charcoal grill. As it cooks it takes on more flavor and has a nice peppery bite. It's NOT a dipping sauce. It just isn't meant for that. I like thicker sauces like Bull's eye, Heinz or KC Masterpiece for dipping. My two favorites are Open Pit and Bullseye. Gates and Mauls are two more I'll use. They didn't make your list here.I tend to like savory or spicy sauces over sweet for most things. ~BTW calm down about the corn syrup and food coloring. They are in nearly everything on your table. Coke is full of it. Those chicken nuggets probably had it as did most of the BBQ sauces

Me too. Been eating BBQ with Open Pit since I was a kid in the '60s. Love it. Yes, it's not a dipping sauce. It takes on a whole different flavor once it's cooked w/ the meat. Heavenly.

I love open pit. It's not a dipping sauce, like what you're using it for. It's a BBQ sauce. Best to coat chicken, Ribs or chops in it then BBQ the meat, basting it while you cook. Nothing tastes better.

i add a tablespoon of white vinegar to open pit makes it taste much better basting imo.
