- Like all of us, Donald Sizemore is no fan of telemarketers. So when he got a call from one recently, he decided to play a little trick on them, busting out his Donald Duck impression. His wife, Gayle Sizemore, recorded the exchange. “Hewhoah? Hewwwwhoooooah, are you dhere?” Donald asks the unsuspecting telemarketer, who proceeds to inform him about why he's being contacted. In the end, the telemarketer knows something's up and ultimately hangs up. #InsideEdition

I spent most of my life not knowing Donald had two actors. I grew up watching the current Mickey Mouse club and the one from the 40s and 50s that my dad grew up watching. I couldn’t tell the difference 😂😂
@@samuelfranco3744yes but it’s really hard to perform. I spent roughly 17 years trying to do Donald and I’ve done voices since I was at least 6. It’s more of a trick than a voice.
The original voice for Donald was Clarence Nash. I and a small animation unit we had at Walt Disney World Florida were honored to have lunch with him and his wife who were visiting from California. If you look him up under Google images you will see a wooden (?) puppet of Donald he had with him. He would talk to a pretty secretary or waitress with the puppet and "Donald" would ask for a kiss but at the last moment pull back the puppet and offer his own cheek instead. I'm quite sure his wife had to put up with this most of her life. He passed away the following year at age 80.
Tony Anselmo is one of the current voice actors for Donald Duck, and he was hand selected by Mr. Nash, training under him before the latter's passing. In fact, Mr. Anselmo still uses Mr. Nash's old ribbon microphone whenever he does Donald's voice in the studio, for (I believe) vocal frequency reasons. So Mr. Nash's legacy still lives on in multiple ways via Mr. Anselmo! 😊
