국뽕일지도 모르겠지만... 한국이 연출이 제일 좋은것같음.. 예를들면
다른 나라들은 '이제부터난 마음대로 춤을출거야~ '부분때 엘리가 토드한테 어딘가 묶여있는데 한국은 둘이서 견재하면서 자유롭게 뱅글뱅글 춤을추고있는게 너무좋고.. 반면에 또 '넌 네삶을 증오할거야(사랑할거야)' 부분에선 진짜 싸우는것처럼 표현한게...
It might be patriotic, but I think Korea is the best director. For example, "I am going to dance freely from now on." Other countries are Elizabeth tied up with Todd. But South Korea turns her round and rounds Todd. Show me she want freedom
저는 우리나라가 제일 구렸는데 다른 나라 연출때는 엘리랑 죽음한테 집중할수 있는데 실제 한국 공연 보면 죽천(이라 쓰고 닭떼라고 말한다)때문에 정신 사나워요 지금 영상에서는 편집자가 짜른건지 아님 애초에 찍을때 죽천 안 나오게 찍은건지 모르겠지만
그리고 다른 나라 엘리랑 죽음이 서로 밀땅 하는데 한국버전에서는 애초에 엘리가 죽음 개무시 하잖아요 죽음한테 휘둘리는 연출이 아예 없어요 엘리가 그래도 죽음한테 유혹당하고 흔들리다가 뿌리치고 그래야 되는데 한국 버전은 그냥 엘리누나 자축송에 죽음이 눈치없게 온것 같음

Here I was wondering why the 1992 original isn't in there, but then I remember that this song was only added later.
My favourite Elisabeths are Willemijn and Pia and my favourite Deaths are Mark and Kim. They just have great voices, and, especially Kim, can act the best.

That's not even the best Japanese staging - Toho version from 2016, the way Ohana smirks throughout it all kills me every time.

Yes, that's Máté Kamarás. He is Hungarian, and he also played Death in Hungary.

Many believe that Elisabeth would flop if it was done in English. Just like Tanz Der Vampire, it flopped because they tried to make it more modern like and they changed a lot of the lines and other stuff.

I have watched that video once on yt but i couldn't find it ever again, unfortunately. If it will satisfy you i can recommend you 2016 version of that performance. They sung it together again in Junsu(Tod)'s concert and i believe this is better than the performance you asked.

Hungarian Death is an androgynous supermatural being (not depression personified like in the Viennese versions).
Why didn't you use Mari Hanafusa's movie?? I think she is the best Sissi I've ever seen. (In addition, maybe most Japanese think so, I guess:))
Because only Maki Ichiro has ever sung this song in the right key, none of the other Japanese versions of this song match the "European" key.

Did the Hungarian production really add the song or was it just a concert?
One of them is a concert, the other is from a dress rehearsal, I guess they considered adding it to the production, but they decided against it at the end.
