  • This short clip is from interview of Dr. Carl Jung. In this clip Jung explains intuition which is an important psychic function. This function permitted the survival of our species and we are still able to use it. The people who have an intuitive personality type are keen on using this function and Jung Showcases it with an example.

My intuition was right many time with names, professions, and where someone comes from. Even scary. I dont play with guessing anymore, i have enough evidence. The intuition about own things is harder, our judgement of them is biased

Interesting. You've got that right. Notions and intentions can cloud the intuition, whereas being free from preconceived ideas can allow easier access to it

intuition is the pre-acquired ammount of simplified or compact ammount of information in which a user could either, dwell onto simplifying such by conscious means or straight up accept it as it’s own unconscious behaviour.
It works somehow just like a winrar compressed file which allocates all the information you need just in a tiny bit of memory space

This was recorded around the time I was born, my generation followed W. Reich, was regularly prompted towards Jung in regards his famous works on dreams, much to my regret he was one of Freud's clique I never read, due to having my own theory ( Oh, the arrogance of youth ) my thoughts on intuition were that they were just unconscious processing of reality, and the fact that female intuition ( supposedly only women possessed this faculty ) in my experience was totally defective, I have always relied on my intuition and found it 100% reliable.

Thank you for sharing! You didn't read the works of Jung because of personal beliefs or because of your loyalty to another school of thoughts?

@@humannature698 Getting through Wilhelm Reich's works was struggle enough, his daughter Eva was a guest at a Hippy Fest here in Australia, there is a saying that if you can remember being at Woodstock, you probably weren't. I never really was sold on the Orgone Accumulator thing. My dreams are so exciting, that fantasy films leave me cold, analysis would not give me any more insight than I already have, lucid dreams are a rare and treasured experience. I will explore your site, Peter Singer is now one of my Gurus, just on the strength of his inquiry into the native language of the brain, which I have believed in as long as I can remember.

What would you say is defective about female intuition?

Thinking/feeling/sensation/.intuition. All 4 make up a developed psyche. I take issues w some of Jung, Jung just did not live long enough to fully develope alot of his ideas, He stated before he passed, I EXPECT OTHERS TO COME AFTER AND REXAMINE EVERYTHING I WROTE... So far no one has picked up Jung's request. Jung advised us to avoid JungISM like the plague of black death,, what do we see today,, JungISM = Not Jung = In fact antiJung.
Feel free to contactr me to begin these critical readings in Jung.

Intuition is perceived by the unconscious? Is he saying the unconscious is one of the senses?

its more like the unconscious puts things together for the person. they consciously look but its the unconscious that sees and informs them

@@ardart1613 seems to be more than that. though it truly has the abstracting part, looks like also has the inferring part. more like auto complete
