This was an eye opener, Adam! Thank you. Something I will definitely be playing with in the future. And yes, I've been in that "funk" on more than one occasion 💖
I will have to watch again because I didn't get it. I have been trying to find out what the difference is in HQV and the other formats. Why would a person save in one over the other. I can't seem to find the answers. I need to find a way to have my computer handy so I can do as you are doing. I am a hands on learner so hearing and watching goes in one ear and out the other. You are a great teacher so I am glad you are going to continue to make videos.
This is from someone who knows nothing about computers (me). HQV is a vector file type. It issues math to increase/decrease in size which always keeps the exact proportions. When HQ Designer was released, HQ got the new HQV file type to use and some of the functions in PS only work when using HQV files, like Reposition Zero. The function I am going to use in the stitch out video to have all of the designs placed exactly where I planned them out in this video.
I wish my Pro Stitcher tablet would connect to wifi. I haven't been able to figure it out yet... If I subscribe to Connect I'd have to download to my flash drive. And all of my computers are too old to use Designer... I guess I have to do some upgrading.
You have to connect your tablet to your home network - meaning you have to tell it what the name of it is and then put your password in when prompted. Once that's done, you should be able to connect. Ask me how I know :)
That picture behind you would make an awesome quilt top.😮
I can't wait to see this quilted!
Thanks for the video! It was such a pleasant surprise this chilly Sunday morning. Take very good care. Enjoy Hawaii! Casey Mohr

Oh, I can’t wait to play with a Prostitcher designer… I’ll have to search all your post at your designer videos and watch them
Lucky there is a playlist that has all the videos that have to do with Designer. Just look through the list of playlists
That was awesome! Can’t wait to see it stitched!

@@adamsewfun. So why the other 2 formats? I think there are 2 anyway.
They also work, they are just a different file types as not in vector. Not all digitizers have the ability to save in HQV.
This was a great question and also a great answer! Thx guys.

@@azflower7748 obviously I know I have to connect it to the network... But nope, the drivers are disconnected. It won't even detect the network.
