    I don’t often react, but I am absolutely appalled at the horrible and completely false reactions. I am not entirely new to the subject, this video was obviously very very well researched and a lot of time has gone into it I’m sure. I found it very interesting, and I have subscribed to the channel.❤

    I dont understand how they could disturb the graves unless renovating and searching for someone. I dont understand putting them together, it seems so disrespectful. I also know Mary and Elizabeth didnt get along and find it shocking they were out together. I guess theybare family and should be ok though. Thank you @offwiththeirheads for the kind & eloquent reverence you speak of each person who was royal or not.

    This is a perfect example of an internet scourge, CLICKBAIT. Don't title this video "Opening the Coffins of HIstory's Queens" if no actual coffins are being opened. You know that people are going to click on this expecting to see open coffins. This is not the first time you've done this. Shameful!

      Hmm. You were expecting to hear of the condition of a corpse, yes?
      That’s a little macabre.

      These videos are totally gibberish. She says a lot of words, but sometimes halfway through she’ll just start repeating the first story she said. It’s bizarre behavior and it’s total Clickbait. That said, I do like watching it even if I know I’m being suckered into believing this is a legit channel.

      I Expected to hear they were wrapped/mummified,whatever..I didn't think they'd show you a corpse smart aleck. I like historical docs. See Catherine was preserved! 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
      If I wanted a corpse I was asked to watch an autopsy. No thanx.

    In a recent video by someone else, it was posed that possibly QE1 was given false information about Queen Mary by those who wanted her gone and Elizabeth did what they wanted.

    • @TinaFivesten
      @TinaFivesten 6 дней назад +1

      Yes, most certain, it was so, but Elisabeth should have met with her cousin, whom she held prisoner for 19 years (no wonder, because of the abuse causing terrible desperation in Mary, she wanted to get out at any cost).

    • @SpiritGirlSF
      @SpiritGirlSF 6 дней назад

      @@TinaFivesten Yes, she certainly should have met with her. Its fascinating to hear these different stories and theories from people in different places in time, it shows me how things just never change... people are just as cruel and corrupt as they were then. Yet so many do not understand this, its disheartening.

    Quicklime does NOT hasten decomposition of soft tissues nor does it in any way have any effect on skeletal remains. What quicklime does is two things - first, it moderates the odor of natural decomposition of flesh, and, secondly, it actually preserves the tissues.
    It's ok that the Tudors might have been ignorant of such things, but it's NOT ok that YOU are ignorant of such things.

    The most egregious death was that of Lady Jane Grey, Queen of 9 Days. She never wanted to be Queen, or have anything to do with the Royal Court. She was a pious teenager, faithful to the Protestant religion she was raised in, which was The Church of England, aka The Episcopal Church as it is called in the U.S. It is also often referred to as Catholic Light. When Jane was imprisoned, she was repeatedly told she must recant, denounce her Faith, and declare herself Catholic, which she simply could not do because she knew it would be false. Thus, she was seen as a major threat to Queen Mary (who was a bit of a maniac, no doubt from the way she and her mother were treated by her father, the monster known as Henry VIII.), and this child was executed.
    To think of all the lives destroyed because of one man who had to have what women he wanted at all cost. And so he declared himself head of the church. Religion (not spirituality and not God) is the bane of humankind.

    This is not well researched particularly the bit about Catherine Howard. She was not having affairs she was framed and coerced but no other research was placed forth only the gossip of the day made its way to this documentary if it can be called that which has by the way no open coffins.

    • @roeostare
      @roeostare 5 дней назад

      She did a very eloquent and treated each with respect. They would want their stories told as it keeps their memory alive. Don't you think? I mean their stories are taught in history classes but a lot of details left out. People need to know what was done to these royals.

    Catherine Howard “screamed at the sight of her former lovers…”. There is actually no evidence other than Henry VIII’s paranoia and the schemes of those who wanted to shift power away from Norfolk, that either of these men were her lovers
