@@eileenkelleghan680 Guess it depends on what you're into. I'd find it too loud & distracting. Didn't seem ambient at all to me. I'd much rather eat at a restaurant with a more quiet & relaxed pace.
I don't think I would even sit down after hearing the volume of that music. I'm not sure why some restaurants feel the need to assault their customers with music. Most people want to eat in peace.
@@cgraham6 Prevents people from talking so they eat and go, and they can serve more customers, which lowers prices. Same with boarding music on an airplane, music in front of Wal-Mart, hard seats at McDonald's, etc.

it's the same you sometimes become in japan or Vietnam at an 7 eleven store. you choose your instand Ramen noddles and get a paper pot at the cashier when paying...
it's because it's not america... where american singers get butt hurt if someone uses and doesn't buy their music plus they're too dumb to take it as a promotion and complement to their music
Excellent vlog love to see you having an exciting different new dining experience. Looks amazing, I hope you enjoyed as much as I enjoyed watching you. ❤
Your videos always come out at a time when it is dinner time during the night shift for me, so I've enjoyed seeing so many different places. What an awesome cardboard box to have lasted that long cooking.
Cardboard is making a come-back across the planet! In the past few months I've noticed that plastic packaging is being replaced by paper and cardboard everywhere, including the supermarkets. Where they can the plastic is being replaced. Where they can't, it is being reduced. And whilst cardboard can, and does, burn, it seems we've discovered something our Stone Age ancestors knew very well, and that is that if a flammable container is filled with aqueous liquid, so long as the level of that liquid stays above the maximum height of the heat source ( flames for the Stone Age), it might scorch but it will not burn...
Well, it wasn't detailed how this container is made, but I doubt it doesn't have plastic. Cardboard is porous, it will only be waterproof if it is mixed with plastic, and the worst part is the temperature.
Now I want hotpot so bad, and the hotpot here in the U.S. is SO EXPENSIVE. A place like this'd go over like crazy, I'd be eating there three times per week! Great idea with the sauce, you can never have too much garlic. Love your videos; take care, and happy exploring!
If I was younger I would love the loud music but at age 50..I probably would pass right by this place covering my ears. Noway could I sit thru a meal with my ear drums being blown out.
@@Choumibutterfly It depends what type of cardboard we're talking about. This is not reusable, it has a plastic inner lining and a metal plate of some sort in the bottom, probably aluminium, and it can't be reused because it's very difficult to separate the different type of materials automatically, so they has to do it manually and then it'll be too expensive to recycle - this will sadly go directly to the landfill. - and as a rule of thumb, you can't reuse cardboard used for food, as there will be food residue left in it - it's contaminated - and therefore regarded as a health risk, at least here in Denmark.
I think its because its a small stall. with that price, it must have been really busy. having only 2 or 3 people serving the customers , cleaning the tables and attracting costumers, they will not have enough time to wash them. heck having the place to wash the dishes will be an issue. This is why many small stalls serve their dishes in disposable containers.
Bigbang? Yeah. This place definitely deserves all the business. God I miss the days when Bigbang dominated the kpop market. Loved this video just for the music. 🥰
all that for $5 will say again $5 . so lucky to have such places to eat and enjoy. wish we had in England such places for a £5 or £6 very unique never mind about items being cardboard saves the washing up 😁
Love the cheap hotpot videos. They're so much fun. Love the 7-11 videos too. Have always loved both and the cruise videos. Thanks for making everyone HUNGRY yet again lol. You also inspired me to make my Hawaii FOOD Channel too. (I just uploaded a breakfast at Hukilau Cafe video) I dont have as many subscribers as you, so I'm trying to work harder and harder to earn those subscribers. But the process is enjoyable and my only regret at the moment is I wish I had more time to make more videos. (Still work a 40 hr week and got littles to take care of). Love and Aloha from Hawaii!
Very inexpensive and looks good, I'd ask for a bit more soup and I'd be happy to pay a bit extra for that. But honestly I probably wouldn't eat there, it's too loud.
i know it doesn't make sense but i had a hard time reading because of how loud the music was so annoying. i know i'm getting old when i know i wouldn't go near that place because of how loud it is.
Dining servers have great timing, don't they? I love when they come to refill your drink when you're practically done eating. Here, in the USA, since I drink iced tea, I get free refills so if the waiter or waitress doesn't give me at least 1 refill during my meal, I only tip 15%. If I do get one or more, I tip 20%.
On one hand, cool tech... foil on the bottom of a cardboard box, to transfer the heat for the hotpot... On the other hand, not reusable, and all the plates, boxes, cups, would be thrown away contributing to waste... when reusable plates, etc would serve just fine... Regarding the hotpot itself... nothing special, it's the same you see at every hotpot place... Thanks for sharing...

They have an advanced model S-40 Heckalecko with a 40mm Frumpton dingifier, and sometimes the 7 degree Silver Top Bananarama comes into play. Hope that helps.
delicious and cheap. one question : anyone else finds it weird to have soup based food and a cola with it ? like it is very hot food that is mostly liquid , i don't feel it is safe to have an ice cold drink with it, so i normally have a drink like 30 minutes after the hot meal.
Don't know how I feel about eating food cooked in a cardboard fully printed with black ink. You'd think it would be a good idea to keep ink away from liquid and heat.
I wonder what the sales tax is like there. I learned in Japan that the tax is more than the food. The food is still cheap by US standards, but not quite as cheap as it looks on video.
they were playing some bangers for sure but i feel like the high volume would get annoying very fast lol
Mmmmmm microplastics 😋
Exactly, I'm going to eat, not to a nightclub...
i guess its more of a a nighttime joint.Too noisy for day.
Watching you eat while singing to the kpop songs in the background is a mood, lol TT It feels like 2014-2017.
they were playing all the hits 😭😭
Two full meals for two people for $12 is a great deal. This place looked fun, sure sounded like people were having lots of fun there. Cool video DB
the best kind of place to eat, good food, good ambience, and cheap prices makes for a very profitable place
No chef to pay.
meanwhile in europe or amuricah you pay 9 euros for one macdonalds meal that is just dry grease
@@eileenkelleghan680 Guess it depends on what you're into. I'd find it too loud & distracting. Didn't seem ambient at all to me. I'd much rather eat at a restaurant with a more quiet & relaxed pace.
worth getting poisoned?
Thanks for the kpop throwback! 😂
Dude, the fact that they were playing, "Nobody." That's a major throwback.
HAHAHAHA IKR
they wer playing all the old kpop 🙏🙏🙏
I miss BIGBANG 😭 Didn't realise how much until hearing them again
Twenty-One was a banger here in the Philippines back in the day
I watch your videos every day, they are a huge comfort. Lots of love to you and your partner!
They should call it a hot-puddle. So little stock. And ultra loud music.Makes you want to eat fast.

sort of surprised that the video didnt get flagged yet with the music. the paper pot idea is interesting though
SHHHHHH. Maybe they won't notice!🤫

There is a time limit to that apparently, the copyright strikes occur only when you use more than a particular duration of a song
I love your videos. Always watch them to relax at night
Big Bang always goes hard, didn't expect Bang Bang Bang to be blasting there
Sounded like we were in a dance club.
I thought that was the best playlist. Definitely a Kpop Stan. Had everything Big Bang, Red velvet, Momoland, Twice, Wonder Girls, Sister.
Copyright moment-
I kept trying to guess the songs, there was one second of BTS' Mic Drop too
I recognized Bang Bang Bang because it was on a Pump It Up dance arcade machine.

You gotta love how Thailand can feed you for dirt cheap and the food is generally guaranteed to be really good while they're at it!
If you want to earn 50 cents an hour I’m sure you could get cheap food in your country as well.
Excellent vlog love to see you having an exciting different new dining experience. Looks amazing, I hope you enjoyed as much as I enjoyed watching you. ❤
Whoever was operating the music needs a raise, not even sure how you find that many good songs reliably
dudes definitely playing a youtube playlist

Цена - Отлично 👍 ! Музыка и Громкость , Действительно , Неоднозначно !
It was fun to recognize some of the songs that were playing. 😁👌
that shop has an awesome playlist! the ambience would be awesome eating there with all the gen 2 kpop songs
Your journeys are full of details of life and it's always super great to experience it! Thanks!
I'd die for that right now, and only $5? Sign me up! pretty well balanced meal too.

All the Big Bang’s songs.. pff♥️👌

I feel old after listening to those K Pop music ... time flies
Love the music choices in the background 💗

I would eat there just for the music! Big Bang for life!!!
Excellent music 🎉🎉🎉Bigbang! 2ne1! There is a lot of food for roughly 5 bucks...just need more soup.
Sadly its such a waste. I wish they just use those really cute pots for hotpot or like anything unique to use that is reusable :(
Don’t forget we can recycle cardboard!

My thought exactly. Funny concept, but way too wasteful.

Just woke up, opened youtube and saw this. Got me wanting to jump through the window and just yoink all of it for myself

I tried my first ever hotpot a few months ago after watching all your videos! It did not disappoint, it was delicious!!!
Shoutout to the DJ in this video! Nothing but bops♥
For the price, that’s a pretty cool little meal and experience.
I like how some call it pork belly whilst others call it bacon. I like the differences it’s like how people in the UK call chips, crisps.
That is indeed a smart way to get as much customers as possible with music
how does the cardboard work?! how does it not burn or go soggy from the water?! AMAZING
Probably uses same coating material as cup noodles
What a cute little hotpot experience!
The playlist is 🔥

That looked really good.
Anyone else forget to pay attention to the video because they were vibing to the music?

the meal loks so good and cheap damn . plus all the kpop music in backround i would dance and eat

this restuarant music be bangin

So happy you enjoy Thailand food na ka!
The background music just makes this VIP person happy. Hopefully it doesn't get tagged for it
Nomnomnom! 😊
I always love indonesian beef rendang 🥩 and fried chickens 🍗 .
Hotpot = Poto caliente 🧐🤝
10/10 all of the songs
You chose _bacon._ You chose well.
That metal film in the cardboard directly heating with induction has to be leaching the plastic coating right into the food.
you made it look really good because you can use chopsticks and i cant haha but it looks great
4:00 was that famous KPOP band BIGBANG - FANTASTIC BABY playing that i heard
I mean, the prices are insanely low! That’s such an amazing deal!
Wonder if metal hotpot would be more economical for the business. It doesn't look like they have many tables.
Interesting concept but I don't understand why it has to be cardboard and not a regular small pot, I feel like its just unnecessary waste
Disposable no need wash, can save 1 manpower
im thinking maybe the music is so loud bc the vents are extremely loud too? whenever there is no music all you hear is ventilation
