Tip from me: Stay seated and do not stand up on slick surface, you want to keep a low center of gravity.
True. The lower to the ground you are the better. Feet down quickly.
Unless your walking with your feet, standing on a dirt bike/dual sport is always more stable. Standing allows you to control the bike with both the foot pegs/seat area and the handlebars independently.
Standing up lowers your center of gravity.The weight is on your pegs instead of your seat.
