Hi Amy, You did such a good job on your first Flosstube! I enjoyed it and have subscribed. The colors in the designs you have stitched (and WILL stitch) are so pretty! I began cross stitching in 1978 when my older son was 1 1/2 (he’s 46 now!). It still thrills me to see a picture take shape on a blank piece of fabric! One thing that can help those of us on a limited budget is going to the web page of design companies and checking out their free designs. Most of them have some. They aren’t usually very large designs, but smalls can be a quick stitch and can give you a rest from your larger projects. Looking forward to your next flosstube!

Welcome to flosstube…I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Your first video had excellent flow with a confident and clear voice…awesome. I too do not have a huge amount of wips…I was a monogamous stitcher until I started my channel but I find it manageable and comfortable. We would get along well.

Hi, I'm in the UK. I'm retired so on a tight budget like you. I stitched the chicken and rabbit from Crocette a gogo back in 2020, but have not yet fully finished them. I like your finish in the frame. Maybe I'll get round to finishing mine this Easter! I don't like having a lot of wips, usually just one large piece and a couple of smaller ones. Great first video! I can't handle multiple WIPS either, I have 4 right now. I'm in awe of the stitchers that have several & can rotate them around, I enjoy watching them but stick to my 4-7 WIP comfort zone.

Excellent video! This is an expensive hobby. I'm sure you already know this but there are facebook de-stash groups. I check them all the time and have bought quite a lot. Stash Unload, Stash Unloading, and Cross Stitch Stash Unload. I see a lot of Aida on that last one.
