Thanks for this high quality introduction for the bag. It’s help me to find many details for the bay, and solve my questions. ^_^
Ay you're welcome!
Looooved the intro 😂
The strap on the back, in the middle which you said was another handle which you wouldn’t use as there are better handles on the top and bottom & one on each side. I believe that that strap on the back looks like a pass through so to secure it to handles on a rolling suitcase.
It is, but it’s so small and tight it doesn’t do a good job at being a roller luggage pass through.
Odie love the reviews. What would you recommend between this and the wandrd hexad access? Trying to decide between the 2 for longer than just a weekend trip.
Will it fit a 17 inch laptop?Bag looks great..I have some PD gear for my camera..
The pass through on the hip belt is to accommodate the Peak Design Capture Camera clip.😊
It retails for $300 in 2020, and I am concerned about hip-belt and shoulder support system when fully loaded? I just bought it (but not delivered yet) Wondering how to test the belt and straps once it arrives. Pack dumbell weights and walk several miles?
How I always test a bag is load it out with my normal travel load out. My packing cubes, dopp kit, extra shoes, the whole thing. Then I walk about and go through the motions of using it and do it that way.
Thank Odie for the good advice. I ordered it on Ebay, and I chose to buy it from this particular merchant, because he gives buyer 30 days to return it. I don't want to find out how painful it is while traveling on an extended international trip.
Thanks for the video! Have you actually used this much? I’d love to hear whether you’re still keen on it after using it for a while?
Elisha yes! I’ve used it easily for a dozen or more trips and it’s still my go to bag besides the Wandrd Hexad Duffle. This bag holds up.
Odie Matthews awesome to hear! What kind of trip prefers the Wandrd over the PD for you?
Elisha if it’s a 5 day or longer trip and I’m taking my camera gear I personally like the wandrd hexad for that setup. Also because of the compartments on the wandrd if I’m doing something specific on the trip like rock climb, or need nicer clothes the organization of that bag just makes that easier. Stay tuned because I’m going to review the wandrd bag soon.
Cant decide between the black or Sage color. The Sage looks more gray based on the pics i see online.
I would say it definitely is more of a gray color than a real sage
You totally missed the side pockets. I use those for quick camera access while traveling.
Good shout. I completely forgot about those when I was filming, I apologize about that one.
@@OdieMatthews I use the small camera cube with a Nikon Z6 and the 24-70 F4 as my walk around camera. I can still stuff the rest of the bag with enough stuff for a four day trip to NYC.
@@intrinsicimagery I love the space this bag has even when you have an accessory like the camera cube. I love it.
Love your review. What do you suggest for a bag that's not that big? I would like a solid 30-35L bag. What is your preferred goto for one bag travel?
danh27 right now I just did a massive review on the Minaal Carry-On 2.0 and it’s a 35L that is just killer. I’d check that video out or the Boundary Prima or Nomatic Travel Backpack (not the one I reviewed) the Nomatic backpack is killer and I’ll be reviewing it soon. Hope these help.
@@OdieMatthews Thanks I will check it out!
When this bag is in the compressed configuration it is 35L. 😊
I put my pens, pencils and small note book in the tech pouch as well. 😊
Where's the rain cover
Samson No Delilah I unfortunately didn’t purchase it with this bag.
How to make a RUclips video...step one...wink at the camera every 20 seconds
What’s up with the background music dude?
Yeah early RUclips I was not the best at picking background music for editing my sound.
Please turn it off
How do you review a bag without knowing what zippers they use???? They use zoom zippers and ykk
Well given that the under the specs for this bag on their website they don't specify which zippers they use I chose to not make a guess without being 100% sure.
And the harness system is the worst thing on that bag!
I like you changed this and removed your insult on my subscriber count. To me the harness system is very comfortable because I wore this bag for a very long time fully packed and everyone will always have a different opinion when it comes to comfort and what they like. I'm sorry you didn't like my review and I appreciate the feedback as I am constantly working on improving to earn more subscribers.
