I have a lot of Peak Design products although I'm not a photograher of any kind - 5l sling (sage and black) - 13" messenger - 45l travel backpack - Small packing cube (x3) - Tech Pouch - Slide Lite - Leash Yeah, I have slide lite and leash just so I can use the tech pouch to carry even less
On my recent trip to japan just before all the covid-19 madness I used the same peak design bag and accessories with a micro four thirds rig and clothing for three weeks. This bag is the ultimate travel setup. Pricey but you realize you no longer really need any other bag. Great review. Keep them coming.
Short intro is good! Also good: all of Peak Designs stuff! I was a backer on their original Capture camera clip.... Something I can't travel without! Great company making great products.
Very thorough review. I like the way you carry your photography gear in a sling position and load up the bag with your clothes, etc. I've been using the Atlas Athlete for the past year. I like the pack but I can't stand the laptop sleeve. Peak Design really has put an extreme amount of thought into the design of this bag. Well done!
Great review, thanks to show how you really pack your bag with private things in it. It makes it real. I just wonder how can you carry on plane your bag with the toilet pouch. There are liquids or razors in it? I really wonder how to pass the control in airport with it.
Could you fit your camera kit inside the bag in a one-bag scenario? Sometime I can see a benefit to not having two bags. Not a bad setup at all though.
I also have a farpoint 40 and wondering if an upgrade to peak's is worth it for a non-photographer. Any thoughts? And can you elaborate what you meant when you attached a strap on the farpoint for side-carry?
Unless you really need the features of the dual side access and water bottle holders, I personally wouldn't spend that much for just those 2 features. The farpoint 40 has the backpack strap hideaway system as well so no difference there. Your bag should've came with a long strap to latch on to the side of the bag so you can shoulder carry like a gym bag.
They're basically the width of 2 credit cards with slots inside that you can slide sd cards into. I know a lot of people get pelican cases cuz they're waterproof, but memory cards are waterproof anyways now, so I rather save the space.
Hey man, could I ask you what kind of camera (about $1000) works well for flat lay, landscape, and some occasional potrait? Also, what kind of lens should I get? Thanks in advance!
Lenses are always more important. I always recommend M50 to people because it's a great starter camera and it does everything well. You can still use it as a secondary cam if you upgrade to something else down the line. But it uses the EF-M lineup which means you can't use those lenses on other Canon cameras. Sony is also a great option right now if you ever want to do any kind of video.
I will mainly use it for photos but it'll be nice if it doesn't suck at videos either. What Sony camera are you recommending and how does it compare to the m50?
@@aggaviriyo790 a6400 is decent. If your main focus is photo I'd stick with Canon cuz their photos are still nicer than Sony. They're also much easier to use.

I fully agree, absolutely love their stuff. Build quality is second to none. In the process of reviewing the 20L and 30L backpacks
The absolute best review i’ve seen about this bag!! 🙌🙌
Thank you so much!!

Been almost 2 years of using it, still haven't seen something better, and still performs like new.
Man you deserve more subs!
Thanks for the vid!
I’m a lil’ bit late to the party, but your intro is dope! Good job!
Thnx bud!
What a great review Cheese! I've been looking for a travel bag for ages and this might be it! Keep it up :)
Thnx bud!
Amazing review man, thank you! I think I’m going to go with the same setup
Thnx!
@@CheeseOnEverything what drone did you say you have that fits into that Small Camera Cube? Curious if the Mavic Air 2 would fit like you have it?
I have the mini. The air 2 should fit, not 100% but the mini has some free space inside one compartment.
Just right man! Awesome review!
Thnx bud!

I keep all liquids under 100ml. I'm filming the toiletry pouch video as we speak. Stay tuned for that
I love your reviews!💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
Thnx! More on the way!

Maybe if you dump half the clothes and switch to a small packing cube. But that would only be enough for a weekend trip.
nice review but the only thing there is the bag is heavy unlike osprey farpoint 40 super light and can pack alot
It's not that much heavier in weight, plus the extra features really help as a photographer, especially the side panels.
Great review cheese! Do you use the backpack as a day bag when you're at your destination?
Yup! Compress it to a 35L and it makes a great day pack

Can you use that as a regular backpack and pair with a carry on?
Some airlines won't allow it because it's bigger than a personal item even at its compressed state
Nice review - Do you ever use the small camera cube in the bag?
Yup, I usually pack it in when I use the bag as a day carry.
Great review. What is that pack on your thumbnail that looks like a camera thumbwheel?
On the top left u mean? That's a shaver
@@CheeseOnEverything The item on the second row on the left side of the bag in your thumbnail of this video. I didn't see it mentioned in the video.
O that's just a t shirt lol
What sd card holders are those? Do you still recommend them?

Yes they've been great. Still in my wallet after 3 years.
@@CheeseOnEverything Thanks!
You showed us little flat holders for ypur SD cards. Can you describe them more?

For $1000 you can get a canon m50 with kit lens and a 11-22mm for landscape.

Review on it coming very soon
hi, can it store a 17" laptop?
17 is pushing it, it depends on which one
@@CheeseOnEverything i have a strix scar 17
It should fit, I still have lots of space with my hero 15
@@CheeseOnEverything Thank you for the information!
How many shoes do you travel with?
Just 1 pair and sandals
@@CheeseOnEverything sounds good, do you ever travel with more shoes? If so how can I bring me more shoes?
I guess only if u take out some camera gear or something else you might not need. 45L isnt a lot of room to play with for a week trip.

Is this TSA approved?
You mean carryon size? Yes
