That's an awesome boating shop. The closest we get to that in Victoria Australia is BCF and its nothing like that store. -kind of glad we don't have one because I would walk in excited and walk out broke.

What I learned, when I bought my boat seven years ago was to stay away from West Marine. Their selection is usually good, but they’re always overpriced. I stopped shopping there for a long time, then spotted an online sale on chart plotters this Christmas. I ordered one, and ignored other sales passing over the Christmas season because I knew West Marine would be sending me one soon.
You guessed it, a month goes by and I email several times, looking for my chart plotter. All I received was a terse email saying that their stock was running low, so they cancelled my paid-for order (at least they refunded my credit card). I’ve had it with West Marine - I’m only shopping at local chandlers from now on. Shopping at WM is just like shopping at WalMart - a big faceless organization, just their prices are much higher.

When laminating with 1708matting and 105/205 do you have to apply peel ply?
