      Most Rikishi are not that heavy. The smallest Rikishi only weighs 117Kg. Also their abdominal fat is predominantly surface, not visceral.
      Yes they eat between 8 & 10 thousand cal a day. But they also worked out HARD AF(!) in two 3 hour sessions each day.

      Note not really.. In fact big guys are pretty easy to take them down. You don't want to single leg them or spine squeeze them and trip (you don'twanna play that game with someone so strong). But a simple single leg (ankle pick) from the outside pretty d*** easy they just don't have the balance. They also have extremely weak ankles for some reason all big people do. As soon as you apply an ankle lock straight achilles, heel hook, steering wheel, or toe hold etc. They punk out real d*** quick and then they never get up again.

      I lived in Japan for several years. This is a trained Sumo wrestler vs. an untrained strong man. Both are respect-worthy and not your average (especially in America LOL). Not everything is "this or that". Commend both then move on. The jaded/negative attitude is a bad habit to carry on.

      They’re way too small and don’t move well enough. Offensive linemen are like 6-5. A big ass defensive end is getting around or through a sumo wrestler. It’s totally different from sumo wrestling.
