As someone who has not played that much yet, I would REALLY appreciate it if you could put a picture of the unit being changed/buffed/nerfed on the screen so that I know what you are talking about. This video would be SO much more valuable at this early stage of the game then
Thanks for the feedback man, I'll definitely make an effort to do that in future. I did want to include some in-game footage of all the units as I was talking about them but unfortunately the new patch broken every replay available!
The scythes were celestials best units. Basically 480 hp units that also had one of the highest damage. Even against exos scythes were good. I noticed the damage dropping yesterday and thought it was a good change. I still think celestials are the weakest race but the scythe, archangel and casters are good. And having creep camps only available to the player on that side is a great idea imo, as long as the other side can still neutralize it. Because if someone has the entire map anyways there probably way ahead, adding double of the buffs as well just makes it impossible to come back from a loss. But the creeps shouldn't be able to be killed by the other team that way the resources are always available to that player to help with the epic comebacks. In fact it would be nice if there was a way the game new that the player was behind and made the camps worth way more so the losing player had some potential to make comebacks. Just some thoughts on it. Either way I think their choices for the most part were good.
Well it not easy. I guess game balance is not easy job. Plus the person work hard to explain their work in progress builds. It cost time and money to do the doing. Unlike other development of RTS it costly higher to test and balance the game damage math. But it not easy expose the game data status about the how long the match of the game and balance of the factions.
glad they are touching balance, but my biggest issue with the game right now is perfomance and crashes, i`m running a high-end pc, i play total war warhammer 3 at 60 fps with everything maxed and 10 thousand units on screen, yet my first co op match on the game fps fluctuated between 60 and 24 fps, with dlss enabled even (something total war doesn`t even have). I didn`t try frame generation but that`s cause the dx12 preview doesn`t even launch for me, just instant crashes right now. I`ll be waiting for it to get better but right now all i can think about is, they should have waited at least a few months more to launch this, or instead focused on less things, instead of co op campaign and 1v1, maybe launched with just 1v1 but with the gameplay & performance being a lot more polished from the start
All this thought about balance and yet, the game itself just sucks. Maybe make a single sound effect in the entire game sound good and that'll be a start
Well to be fair they got a huge nerf in in the last patch a couple of weeks ago so they probably don’t want to hit them too hard with the nerf stick again just yet.
Game is kind dead 3v3 cant save it (and EA is just and excuse for bad product) ..Its just not good cant compete to AOE4 or AOE2 or SC2 or WC3 and now AOMR not even close to competitors.. And what is the fantasy Space marines with rail guns vs Diablo with swords and axes and 3rd faction i dont know what is it angels or robots its just all over the place .. Game is like Touren in space marine suit and April fools joke.. I dont know where 40 mil gone maybe for engine or developers paychecks but look at Immortal gates of pyro its just 8 mil game and looks way better then SG..
@@yashiwawa9395 once again people saying 1v1 as if this is the only thing that matters in RTS clearly delusional the only reasone why you dont have problem with 1v1 is because that is the only playeble mode and dont say things like the campaing and coop because those things are fucked 3 free campaings, the rest cost a lot of money, coop mode with only 1 free comander while one comander cost 10 euro yea no wonder why 1v1 is the only played mode
If they keep doing balance patches every 1-2 weeks the community will at least feel like things are fresh and dynamic.

The gaunt reduction in attack speed makes them more microable. An increase of 30% in time between shots without a loss of dps is a strong buff.
it does lose a lot of dps tho (vs anything that's not a lancer) it deals 30% less dmg vs light units, thats massive
