After watching the video (because I brought this frypan never actually knowing any of their claims) and sleeping on the information I cooked scrambled eggs and mushrooms in butter for breakfast as another test. The mushrooms did cook up well before any butter was added. Beautifully when I did add the butter. The scrambled eggs were cooked in the pan without any butter or oil and they did slide right out. Previously I was letting the pan cool down and then trying to wash it and this didn't work but after cooking the mushrooms I cleaned the pan out with a wet cloth the same as they did on the video. It did wipe clean just as they talk about in the video. It must be a wet cloth of a flannel type material while the pan is still hot. The steam generated from the hot pan and wet cloth lifts the food right off the surface. I'm going to continue to experiment with the pan and will post updates. I'm thinking that you need to use this pan slightly differently to what you're used to. In the end its got to be better for you than using the non-stick pans with all the chemicals that leach into your food and its not hard to use non metal utensils. Though I do think its very misleading to use them in the video and then claim in the instructions not to use them. This was in my opinion one of the reasons why I thought the pan was a bonus because though I can refrain from using them on certain pans my husband doesn't always and I've lost pans for this very reason.
Yes people, first time I used it I had to use miles of olive oil to stop the marinated pork chops from sticking. Second time I used it I had to keep adding olive oil over and over to stop zucchini and cauliflower from sticking. They do need to be soaked and cleaned with something more than a soft cloth or sponge and don't ever used metal on them! I so wanted to believe these pans would be good but I'm afraid I'm getting my $36 back within the week of buying it. If its not working this early on its not going to work better later.
everybody need to watch carefully and I know this is a scam pan. 10:04 pause you can see alot of residue black left on the pan yes I know but at 10:17 you can see no black spot of residue meaning they swap the pan.
Including your reply, there appears to be a few people here who have said they have had a bad experience with this product already. I don't have this product yet, as usually when something is only just recently brought out, I tend to wait a while for prices to decrease. But right now, I'm not in any hurry to buy this product, as we already have a couple of other none-stick frying pan types that we use. I think comments here have even started to disuade me from buying this in future anyway. 8-)
Forgot to say, rinsing off with lukewarm water as you did, would also be something I would do too, as it seems so easy to clean.... no detergents of any kind needed. But what about this? Maybe giving it a quick rinse round in water, there's a possibilty that it might damage the ceramic coating in some way. It's only a guess really. I mean, they didn't wash it in water in the clip, did they? Only a single tea-towel seemed necasarry there.
How about this: I used the pan ONCE to fry an egg and the ceramic coating started flaking off immediately. I only used a soft plastic spatula, didn't even use a brush or sponge on it when I did the dishes. This product is pure garbage, per my experience.
Realidad o mentira hace 3 meses compre los sartenes ceramicore en tv. Ofer 2 meses despues los sartenes con o sin aceite pegan las comidas. Que sugerencias me dan :O
Bought one in woodies Ireland had it 6/7 months sent it back as it was sticking NOT WASHED so they could see and test was careful with it will post in July to see how I get in
SRINIVAS KUMAR MADDINENI The reason is simple, all these "tests" are biased. If you really want to buy a good pan, buy an asian marble coated pan. Don´t believe what these people say on TV, since they have only one interest... take your money. Ofcourse they will say that their product is good, but you can notice that it is more lies than truth by the aount of times that they tell you that it is good. In this video, they babbled about the ceramicore´s superiority so many times, I lost count. Traditional asian pans are better, since they produce their pans according to how food is prepared there. But remember, I am only giving you a tip... the true answer must be found inside you.
Also, if the guy in this clip has it all wrong and that you cannot use metal utensils, then so be it. The guy here maybe completely wrong, but I may still buy this product, but use plastic or wooden utensils instead. I don't see anything wrong with that personally.
whats wrong with the likes i dont think the dislike is not match to the comment wtf is up with these likes likes: hate it dislike love it dumbest pan ever
I bought a marble wok pan in Tesco 3 years ago. I don't remember the price, but it was less than this. And it's amazing. Don't waste money on this crap.
I should add that after six years my pan was laid to rest, due to my fiance's fucking up and destroying it. It'd probably last twice as long if not for his being a moron sometimes. Yes, he did replace it.
As long as they claim one can scrape metal utensils along the pan's surface in the infomercial, it certainly has to withstand a water rinse. The Ceramicore is pure garbage; that part isn't up for discussion. What surprises me is rather how incredibly far the product deviates from what is promised in the commerical. It's not that it doesn't "last a lifetime" or "removes the need for cooking oil". It's that it cost $ 48, yet is worse than my three year old $2.50 IKEA pan with teflon coating.
Just bought this. You can't put it on a dishwasher. You can't use any type of metal in it. It cannot achieve more than 120º in the oven Next step - Return it to the store
I bought this Ceramicore Pan in Germany - and i am totally frustrated!! As written in the manual: DON'T USE METAL forks or knifes - only plastic or wooden parts! DON'T USE IN THE OVEN OVER 120° Celsius!! It ist totally different as you can see in this TV Spot. In my eyes it's just cheating. A new ordinary non-stick pan has the same characteristics and you can have it for less than the half price.
Eh at least naitindihan mo peter mang, wag gumamit ng metal dapat hindi malakas ang apoy sa kalan. Baka kasi ang binili mo fake. Dapat original ang binili mo para pangmatagalan
The Ceramicore pan is pure garbage, DO NOT BUY! I fried up a single egg on medium heat, using nothing but a flexible plastic spatula, and the ceramic coating started to come off immediately. I didn't even use a brush to clean it after it'd cooled for an hour, I merely rinsed the dirt off with lukewarm water and wiped it clean with a towel I've only had this pan for one day, and already I'm sorry I spent the money. It is simply infuriatingly bad.
5:33 - That's not done. You can clearly see some of the shrimp are not cooked through. You cook the meat thoroughly first before adding the veggies and sauce. It's elementary. This is how you get food poisoning. I ain't eating that. 8:15 - The flavors, odors (and allergens) WILL transfer and permeate if different foods are cooked in the same pan no matter what. It's an undisputed fact, especially with foods that have a strong odor or flavor. You're playing Russian roulette cooking that way if someone has a food allergy. I guarantee that lamb chop has the infused essence of the fish and scallops in it. If you cooked like that at a restaurant, you'd get fired. 10:07 - Someone get Gordon Ramsay on the phone for this lousy presentation. When it's not on the heat, it's not cooking, it's cooling down. You're asking for a parasite infection doing that. That marmalade glaze will be too sweet and sticky as it was not allowed to reduce, and should have been put on when the chop was cooking up. Also, points off for using sugar free artificially sweetened junk on that beautiful pork chop. Again, I'm not eating that.
Before you use this pan, read the instructions, precautionary measures and cooking guides first that has stated in this product. This may take the durability of the product.
That is food poisoning and cz your stupid. He cooked the shrimp to fast like the pan is so good it can make stir fry faster then a wok can. That is not true and he lying to you, those shirmp are hella under cook, he did this just so your be like wow the pan can cook your food faster then any pan. That dude is a piece crap
