Good content and the point that he made about some dealership workshops being rigged is true and is a common practice nowadays. Video seemed more about marketing their used car brand but it is needed too one can understand, overall content is good. Nice channel man
I wouldn't buy any car from these guys.. I don't how much they would charge, but just the way this guy talks,.. their prices are likely to rip you off.. talks too big..
25:20, again pure gold garbage stuff. You decide selling price based on price you paid back when you purchased! You can't demand 40L for a car that you paid 35L, just because new one cost 40L(new one has 3-4 year more life as per RTO, who pays for that?).. newer model will have its own perks, upgraded features, newer looks and higher RTO life.. old beater can't be priced on par with new.
Completely agree with this, have been hunting for a car and this logic has been extremely off putting experience, also this logic only applies when buying, you try selling your car all this vanishes. Now I have almost shut down my plan for a used, rather will wait a buy a one new one in a few months, the luxury used DelhiNCR car market has gone bonkers, logic wogic sab bahut peeche rah gaya hain. 😐👎🏽
@@punjabibong Yes been through this in both Superbike and premium car market, but finally managed to get hold of a sensible seller who how understood basic maths and how works, came to decent deal without any middleman.
This is exactly the type of content we need…Big thanks to you Pranay for bringing him here and framing such inquisitive questions…(Hope you reach a million subs soon)
Ultra rich dude needs to come out of whatever delusion he is living in. Blanket statements about this is shitty that is shitty, generic statements of things he has no clue about, and absolutely no meaningful data point or set of data points shared. Look at how he fumbled over a basic question about commission to a dealer and ended up saying 1%. Probably he's too young and has not seen the real world...combined with the obvious backing of an highly affluent family! (PS: If someone calls post - 2020 diesel E class sedans as shitty, I am pretty sure that his "car knowledge" is also way too limited.)
Recently came across this channel, like what you're doing in the car space Pranay. I feel like the whole "discussion and decision" to buy a 2nd hand car should be destigmatised and this is a good way to do that. Keep up the good work!
I absolutely love your channel, I’ve just subbed. You’re so well spoken and knowledgeable. An absolute joy to listen to your podcast format vids. Cheers!
Rule of thumb: A - car depreciates 15% every year. Check the original price of the car in the year it was bought and calculate. B - Check IDV Value of the car on the insurance document. It gives a fair idea of what the car was last valued at by the insurance company. Above 2 points give a ballpark figure on how the car should be priced.
He buys 6 cars a month. His brother spends 3 days per car before buying one. But they sell 50 cars in two months. How? Clerly the speaker is promoting himself.
He himself is a used car dealer and takes a huge margin on every car. Ohh god the hippocracy 😅😅😅 People will watch just about anything 😅 Buy just about anything 😅. Success of big boss proves it 😅😅😅
To the guy above in the comment. A person should do business for charity, not make money and be good. What a communist mindset. How do you make your living? Give extensive details please
@@pranayk37basically he is trying to sayb that achint is clearly selling his brand.. Most probably you also know it. Anyways this is life. Everyone wants to make a living.. jitna extra ho.. so yeah.. this is way too filtered. May be 30 percent is true. Points not related to his company/showroom :)
Mercedes user for the last 4 years Got a used mint condition CLA diesel and drove for 3 years, absolutely no issues even after driving on bad roads. Recently upgraded to the new C300d and loving the performance and looks of the car. Benz is a very reliable brand and fuel efficient as well. Interacted with many Benz owners and they have the same experience. Disagree with the gentleman on his views about Benz. Liked the overall interview and his approach to used car market.
Some people in the comment section want the luxury used car dealers to buy a car at 35lacs and sell it to the end user at 35.10lacs including paper transfer. Obviously if they are running a business they are running it for profit and they will have to keep a huge margin/profit as they have got huge fixed and variable expenses every month.
Good ideas and topics on the channel , however the interview should be an interview and ask tough questions else it can veer towards empty talk and very few takeaways..
The way I always value a car is to check the invoice amount paid by the 1st owner. The amount before the registration and insurance, including the ex-showroom taxes, is the value of the vehicle at the time for purchase. Rest all are the charges paid by customer to get it on road. For ex. if an Innova Crysta was sold for 18 Lacs back in 2019, its ex-showroom was around 14 lacs. That was the value of Crysta 5 years ago - 14 Lacs. Add onto that the depreciation and you can get yourself a fantastic deal. @Pranay Would like to know your view on this.
That's a good way to value it. However the seller will most likely not agree and eventually all reason and logic fails in front of the demand and supply gods. Also another way to look at it is how much you'll have to shell out if you were to go buy a new one. Because those are real savings and benefits
Bro Skoda Laura is one of the rocking beast but unfortunately the reign couldn’t have happened because in Indian geographic origin the cultures are not actually obsessed with performance oriented that’s why it phased out at early stage 🌹❤️

Achint's clarity and communication is on point specially him being just 24. Well done man.

New car prices have gone up so much that Ppl are selling the used the car at almost the same original price they had bought.

Ive always wondered if the Odometer gets messed with. Do dealers run the numbers down?
Cars are not shitty , Its the trimmed down models brought to india to keep a tab on price.

+1 thanks for spelling it out. It's not the responsibility of the dealer to give a good bargain to the buyer 😂
