My Pops was from LA in the SFV and born in1940, He used to talk about being in Galloping Goose MC, never knew nothing about them, then in the early 2000,s a guy in the seattle Jail i work at was saying he was from Sun Valley talking about his pops running with the Galloping Goose, so i had always thought pops was making up stories, but dont know if he was in the MC but at least know he must have known some of them and that it was in LA when he was growing up.
Here's a short story about the Galloping Goose. My father was from Indiana and in "71 when I was an infant my father was wanted for a couple of armed robberies. So we left Indiana and fled to New Orleans. My dad got a job with Junior Profusano, which is a whole other story. But anyway my father used to tell me stories of him and a couple of the guys from the Galloping Goose doing some crazy shit. But I won't go into details. But when I was a young kid , I would tell my friends stories about the MC, they would always laugh at the name. It used to piss me off they wouldn't take me serious. No one who lives around me has heard of them. Thank God for the internet and RUclips. So I can show them that I'm telling the truth. My father passed away in 2015. I'll miss his stories.
Lived in Nola my whole life and never seen a goose on the road, see the fliers for their parties sometimes though. I do see Banshees, Bandidos, Sons Of Silence, and Iron Order on the roads though.
I live in New orleans and ride a motorcycle year round but don't belong to a club. I've seen a few on the road and partied with 2 on Frenchman, another one worked the door at maes for a bit as well.
I used to hang around them a little bit. If you want to catch a bunch together, come to the never mentioned Krewe of Dreux Parade in gentilly. That's also where the clubhouse was.
This is just coming from a moron here, but the GGMC came around in the 40s. Weren't the Outlaws already around in the 30s? I just want some clarification on this.
