    Love how you said this probably the most boring video on yt But it came at the absolute perfect time because its the only one I could find that just does the pump and not thermostat which is exactly what I need. Wish I could give more than a like and sub thank you !!🙌

    Great vid I’m new to bmws just got one off auction and it was pissing coolant and didn’t know what the issue was but did some research and found out it’s a pretty common issue, again thanks for the video 👍🏻

    Good video! thanks. I've been screwing around with the 3rd bolt, can't see it and can't feel it. good thing I don't depend on this car (325i 2006) I'll try again to get that bolt off then then the thermostat. more hoses and clips. They don't make it easy!

    That coolant is a aftermarket one. BMW has a bluish greenish look , and much thicker than that that you flushed out. Good job tho.

      Yeah mate, it was pretty blue still my camera made it look greenish for some reason....they all taste the same no matter the color...🤣🤣🤣

    Ya, so I just did a coolant flush and even though I specifically remember you saying not to crank the power Steering pressure hose bracket, I broke it......
    I was hoping to find just the bracket but no go, the REIN host is like $200.00 so I just used zip ties and it seems pretty snug but have you ever jimmied a fix for this that you could suggest?
    I love you videos by the way. I think in one video (maybe this one) you were talking of getting rid of this one so I don't know if you'll have any more 335i vids but I'd love to see more.

    • @JohnnysSpeedShop
      @JohnnysSpeedShop  3 года назад

      glad you like the video, there's a few things you can do like drain the system and braise the bracket back on, but honestly a cable tie will work just fine, i'm suggest checking it every 6 months just to make sure it doesn't snap, and I've got tons of 335i videos scattered all over my channel, and 328i and an F30 320 with the AC Schnitzer package, that's a cool car... Cheers - J

    Is the E93 335i 2007 constructed also like this? Or is it harder to replace?

    thx - my 335i 2007 convertible just broke down yesterday evening while driving home at 11 pm. Got an indication that the enginge "overhaeted". It went from a yellow to a red flag on the tft display and the car limited the speed to approx. 20 mph. Brought it to the dealer and now waiting for their feedback. I assume it is the waterpump and the thermostate (car has 120'000 km). let's see

    • @Kobatch1985
      @Kobatch1985 2 года назад

      @@JohnnysSpeedShop It was the waterpump and the thermostate, plus they changed a fuel-pump close or inside the petrol tank (not HPFP). all-in-all about 3k $. The did not touch the HPFP, that would have been another 1.2k $ It seems that the pre-owner already changed it. I hope now the car will run the next 50'000 KM without any issues.

      Peewww. That's a lot of cash... hopefully you are good to go for a long time now... normally they replace the thermostat as a caution to the waterpump
      ..either way that's a lot of $$$$ best of luck for the future..cbeers...Johnny

      @@JohnnysSpeedShop HI Johny, thanks for your reply. I have classic RWD. I have try it yesterday. I moved out the fan and wanted pull forward the pump. All screws have been removed. But still im not able to remove the pump forward... I'm getting disappointed
      //update
      I probably have find what cause that i'm not able to pull it forward. I think that all of it holds by No.4 on this picture i.imgur.com/qMQou5l.jpg Hose No4 is made from metal and screewed to the block. This is the reason why I cant pull out the water pump.
      The easiest way would be unplug the flexible part of hose No.4 connected to the thermostat. BUT - there is almost no space for screwdriver. Maybe the biggest issue will be reassembly it back... mean plug the hose :(
