It is refreshing to watch a game being played where the rules are well understood, the strategy is sound, and the production very solid. Nice work ... love your vids!
Really enjoyed watching your play through of this. It was close but as usual Monique, you just managed to squeeze the last drop out of the available points to leave Nareen eating your dust. Really exciting finish to the game. After watching Rodney Smith’s teach and now your video has made me decide to back the Ultimate edition box, which will be my very first campaign backed on Gamefound.
This game looks awesomely fun. First time I ever saw this one. Discovering a bunch of new things on this channel which is great. Hop! Right on my wishlist. This is expanding.
Love your playthroughs and this game! I think you missed something while playing, when a action says it can be activated twice, you can do it in 1 turn, you mentioned it on the worker action on the player boards but works the same on the cards. I fully recommend this game if you liked what you saw :)
It is the first time I have seen 51st State. I have Imperial Settlers and I like, in this game, you move cards from the left hand side to the right side as part of the game mechanic. The two, other than this mechanic, are principally the same game. Good presentation!
Nice playthrough. One small note especially important for locations about to be razed next turn ;) Note: You can only use an Action on a card once per round unless text says otherwise. >If it can be used more than once, you can choose to activate it all at once or on different turns.< If any decisions are involved in the Action you can choose differently each time, even if you did them all at once. So could have used that hideout action twice for 1 more point before it was razed ;)
I have to admit, watching this play through got me over there thinking about backing it too. I really like all the combos, and the way everything you build potentially chains into building something else. -Rodney
Wow, what a flashback to a Rodney and Luke playthrough on this channel way too many years ago to count. And definitely 2 playthroughs by you two in back-to-back days? My birthday was last month you guys. Also, if there is a ban on dachshunds on here, please remove it because your dog is adorable. I guess we can allow Paula's cats too.

Nice overview and playthrough. I'm glad to see this game getting some fresh coverage!
Watching this made me want to break it out again too!
YESSSSS! I'm excited to see this one! Zee from Dice Tower gushes about this game. Hope y'all are well!
Hope you enjoy seeing the play through!
Thank you Jonathan!!
Zee is on one of the promo cards.

Thanks for a great playthrough! I haven't played this game yet, just watching a bunch of videos for research. It looks like a lot of fun!
Glad you found the video helpful Jonathan - all the best in your research on the game.
I really enjoy your play throughs! Thanks for sharing. I like the way the buildings can be used by other players.
Yeah, creates interesting opportunities for combos!

Yes, they certainly work off the same system, but some interesting twists here.
Love it!! Looks like possibly one of the funnest games EVER! I can't wait to get the Ultimate Edition...a year from now.
I also backed it and will be waiting! -Rodney

It'd be funny if the Klingon subtitles were turned on for the Rochambeau
Great game play. Now I know how to play. 😁
So glad to hear!

Hi! We actually pull our audio from an iphone. We don't have dedicated audio equipment at this time. Thank you for your kind words!

Monique, you should have found a guy named Eugene, so your couple name could be Eunique. But the heart wants what it wants!
LOL Missed opportunity!
