Mysticism and sufism is good but in controlled measures. I have been living in India where it has been traditions and culture of mysticism and sufism. But it brings idleness and weakenes the real and basic roots of the faith if it is allowed without reason and reality. Blasphemy and irrational myths become part of the faith that take the place of real divine doctrines.
That may be true, but the culture of India has an influence. In Turkey, for instance, the Sufi Rumi was a successful businessman and teacher. Many well known Sufis were prolific writers.

But now a days, many new rituals and practices have become part of sufism and mysticism that are totally against the laws of the faith and true love of God. The major part of their authenticity was love for all. But today such people are creating disparity more than love, presenting it as the will of God.

If a person were to focus on the early Sufi writings up through the 13th century for instance, one could easily acquire enough information to conduct oneself properly and even spiritually ascend. If not all people who claim to be Sufis conduct themselves as Sufis, that is their corruption and it doesn't distract from the purity of Sufism which is in alignment with the Word.
