Must Visit Medieval Towns Near Frankfurt | Rhine Valley Hike | Sankt Goar, Oberwesel, Bacharach

- Having two days stopover in Frankfurt, I went to explore area around Rhine Valley. I visited these tree amazing medieval towns on Rhine river: Sankt Goar, Oberwesel and Bacharach. Hike between Sankt Goar and Oberwesel was such a treat! It wasn't without an adventure... I almost got lost on the way back!
This area is so rich in history... many castles, great architecture, world class food and wine, and just great atmosphere! Definitely a must-visit when traveling to Germany!

You should (based on the season you arrive) travel from Koblenz Mainz by boat.
Be aware that there are no bridges along that part of the river, but ferries (schedules!).
