Chop it down and grow a smaller tree in its place. It looks good having a tree there, and when you grew that one, you extended the trunk by 3 or 4 logs. The problem is that it's made that tree way too tall. Maybe try a regular height large tree instead? 🤔

Well I must say, after testing almost every of your storage buildings in my survival world, I must say the season 2 one was just the best. The problem when you have "too" many chests in your main storage system is that you need to run and jump around annoyingly much (sorry colosseum😅). The season 2 storage system was by far the best because it provided a good but still not overwhelming amount of chests in the main building and more than enough bulk storage in the additional 6 storage silos. You don't have to answer to that monolog, just wanted to tell you my oppinion😂.
ya know tbh i feel mixed about that one! on one hand i loved it but on the other (and tbh maybe its the area around it that kills it for me now) not so much!

i love that you're designing this fireplace inspired by childhood memories! unfortunately, my childhood fireplace was unusable because the previous owners of the house had painted it with something that would release fumes if we ever started a fire in there, so uh. oops! every time you put blackstone back behind the fireplace, i think, "ah, black brick, just like the fireplace i used to have. that's a really bad sign" LOL - that fireplace was basically blockaded by instrument storage since it couldn't be used, so i always forgot it was there. in the future it might be fun to make a build that feels lived-in in weird ways like that ! i guess that kind of thing would suit a modern build, where you could imagine it was built without the owners in mind & has some oddities because of that. it's not uncommon to see things like unnecessary/inconvenient doors being covered by dressers. anyway, love the build! just felt the need to share lol. i'm inspired now to build something exceptionally stupid and i'm actually pretty excited lol
Here’s an idea for the balcony side of your fireplace…why not make it double sided? Imagine flying in and landing in a cozy outdoor sitting area with a blazing fire in the hearth.

I love the interior. you've got chests for years lol. (I think it needs a little more barrels but that's just me). My favorite part has to be the cherry log floor, it's so cool! I'm definitely using that in the future.

You have a huge bamboo farm with an unlimited supply of bamboo that you could easily turn into loads and loads of chests without having to chop down so many trees I just don’t understand why you don’t do it

my solution to the item frames thing is to put a block in the floor in front of the chest if that column of chest contains just that item. For all others I use signs as item frames can be quite laggy if there are too many of them in a certain area. (I also play on a server of about 40 people, can't lag people out)

1. I do!! I would love to do a Guardian one for those swwweeeet sweeeet blocks!! 2. Not usually actually!! Lately it's just modded stuff for fun or the current guide world :)
They're long-term worlds if you get the world download and start your world right where Wattles left off. Then you can go take on dragon, explore, build more around it, etc.
Curious why you don’t use a filtering system. I tried in one world but it was a lot of work and I was fairly new to Minecraft and got burnt out. Lol Your storage buildings are always so beautiful. Love the creativity!
I enjoy manually sorting things tbh AND they are a ton of work!! I prefer to do the aesthetics instead of the big redstone machines when it comes to storage!!

This is coming along great! Curious though because I don't think I recall you doing so, but do you generally prefer the cut log texture over turning logs into wood(bark texture on all 6 sides)? In some places I think it being full wood would blend better. Looking forward to seeing it fully complete!
Just a little idea. Maybe you could strip some of the cherry logs in the build in the shape of you channel logo. Would add some personality. I don't know how it would look tho🤔

If you're planning on needing a LOT of chests...... like 10 stacks worth..... if you just head out into the world to collect wood, you have 2 choices 1. Fill up most of your inventory with 20 stacks of logs and end up having to do extra trips due to inventory management issues and running out of space.... or 2. Half the space needed for all of that wood buy turning it straight into chests, 20 stacks of logs = 10 stacks of chests. You do run the risk of making too many chests, but you will ALWAYS need more chests in the future.😊

You can just bonemeal a lilac to get magenta dye (via more lilacs); but to be fair, the purple was a better choice anyway.

I only use a sorting system for farms. One thing I do with my farms is transport 3 or 4 farms to the same place.
You need a skeleton head on your random assortment pile (on skulk catalyst) Maybe this is a hint to visit that ancient city you've forgotten about...?
