Buying the game is easy but getting a ps5 is an other story.
I got it pretty easily following a streamer that lives streams drops. He had a walmart affiliate link and not only me but a lot of people were able to get one including the streamer. I found that apps and websites don't work.
I have the game pre orders but don't have a Ps5. I'll play it at my Sisters house, her kid has one.

this game is absolutely beautiful... straight eye candy...... MS is seriously sleeping on Banjo kazooie and Conker... we need more cartoony games that look this good

@@st4r444 in (2011) i was reading playstation Magazine when they did an issue for All 4 One which was the new game at the time i had never heard of the series at that time as i had only been a Sony fan for only at that time like maybe a year or two i bought my PS2 in (2009) my PS3 in (2010) so i missed the earlier games anyways, the graphics are what caught me and on a lark i bought it cause yes it did look like a kids game but i thought why the hell not?
i fell in love with it right away and realized that to some degree it was a kids game but when you look at the earlier games it was also made for adults as well. i still love the graphics but for me it's the characters and the gameplay as well. i dunno if you've ever played the series before but check it out and see if you like it if not than don't bother with it. cause it did at first look like a series for kids as well and i was proven wrong.

If a reviewer writes in the whole plot as part of his review then he's not a very good reviewer and or maybe their is nothing to say about the game

@@LeBevan best of luck. I know how it feels. It took me months and it was both fun (the livestreams and drops) and stressful (worrying about the the next drop would be, failing each drop). I hope the world's manufacturing crisis eases up soon.

Gamespot has went downhill in recent years for me. I don’t even know why I’m still subscribed. It used to be my favourite gaming channel but most of the good personalities left. Danny, Mike, Kish, Jess just to name a few were amazing.
I'm in the same boat to be honest. The channel needs to have a shake up and bring some more lively personalities back into the fold or the numbers will soon start to decline for them

There honestly couldn't be a worse narrator for their reviews, Gamespot are actively drilling themselves into the ground at this point, it's like they want to fail.
I love her helmet that has the robot face from the very first scene we see her in...it’s soooo dope!! I wish we had the choice for her and ratchet to wear those helmets as often or as little as we wanted

I pre-ordered the game before the game came out and like a month later I managed to get a ps5. The game is totaly worth it, a console seller if you're a huge fan of the series.

@Wario no. He essentially spoiled the first part of the game in the first 2 minutes. He also said that this takes place in Rivet's dimension and largely focuses on Rivet hence "Rivet and Clank". In the end, it's probably gonna be like Crack in Time so it doesn't bother me. I haven't heard any reviews mentioning it so he's probably just exaggerating it.

This game is a step up from the recent one. Not because of the graphics are gorgeous and the gameplay is smooth, no. It's because the entire reboot story (which was not only a game but also a movie) had stunk hard that I just couldn't deal with it. I generally enjoyed Rift Apart's story on how it taps into not only with nostalgia but adds onto the entire lore of the series nicely.

£70 is pretty steep for a game...... But this is like a whole new level of getting less than what you paid for this is like a £30 game at most and I've played the others including the psp games

@@MMACinephile I mean they aren't necessarily wrong. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay looks fun but I wouldn't say that warrants $70 purchase for a game that is 10-15 hours long.
I mostly have been sticking to RPG's because I feel I get my money's worth from them.
I didn't buy RE Village for $60 because I saw it can be beaten in 8-10 hours and then it gives an extra mode for maybe an extra few hours of gameplay and personally it has little replayability value to me.
But I bought ME Legendary Edition for $50 because it is 3 games with tons of content (plus almost all their DLC) and it has high replayability due to different playstyle and choices you can make.
In the end it is all about what people value in their games. Some think the experience alone is worth the price, while others want to feel like they got what they paid for.

Interesting. Always intrigued by money spent to time of entertainment when it comes to entertainment over all. Most movies are 2 hrs long and and in NY, avg movie ticket is $14 . So $7 per hr. Comics book are about $17 per hour and rift apart is about $4.50 per hour. Just wondering, how do you decide when entertainment is too short for entry

Think how expensive a game would be if it followed the same rules? The devs would need to cut the content to same lenghts and that wouldn't be good either.
The wrist rule here is that games need to be longer than movies since they have to pack in _gameplay._ And gameplay includes tutorials, mechanics, difficulty etc etc. Games are challenges and easy/short challenges are less satisfying than watching a movie.
@@Pyovali Interesting. I have heard sound logic with the opposite argument as well. Especially with multiplayer games like fighting games and games with well above average play time. The logic there is if GOW2018 is a 20hr game priced at $60 why should it cost as much as Darksouls that is more than twice as long and then why should that cost the same Divinity OS that is longer than both combined?. 🤔
@@grizzlybearking1878 That's the issue here, bullshit pricing. My fist rule is buck per hour so if GOW took 20 hours to complete, it would be 20 bucks, but to 100% it, it would take 43 hours so 43 bucks.
@@grizzlybearking1878 Depends on the game tbh. I bought Resident Evil Village at launch(which was also short) but I’m a huge RE fan so there was no question about it. R and C i like and it looks good but it isn’t one of my top tier games. Some games i have no problem waiting for a sale 👍

Glad it got a 9 but the review wasn't that in depth. Mostly talked about the plot & nothing technical, didn't even talk about ray tracing or the performance 60fps, ray tracing mode or 4k, 30fps, ray tracing mode. I see why Digital Foundry & IGN get alot more views.
