Most of these hits were written and produced by Motown's main songwriting and production team, Holland-Dozier-Holland.
This is a unique recording of Diana Ross & the Supremes live at the Concertgebouw, the Netherlands on 16 January 1968.
The Supremes were in the line up with Diana Ross, Cindy Birdsong and Mary Wilson.

...'Look at me!...seeing what loving you has done to me'.....Wow!! 😊😊😊...Diana already had that drama in her magnificent voice at age (22-ish)...she was already an actress. 👏....Berry saw this...and chose correctly.

My favorite song of theirs.
Great classic !! ♫
I didnt see lyrics, so here we go = ]
Love is here
And oh, my darling, now you're gone
Love is here
And oh, my darling, now, now you're gone
You persuaded me to love you and I did
But instead of tenderness, I found heartache instead
Into your arms I fell, so unaware
Of the loneliness that was waiting there
You close the door to your heart
And you turned the key
Locked your love away from me
Love is here
And oh, my darling, now you're gone
You made me love you
And oh, my darling, now you're gone
You said loving you would make life beautiful
With each passing day
But as soon as love came into my heart
You turned and you walked, just walked away
You stripped me of my dreams
You gave me faith, then took my hope
Look at me now
Look at me
See what loving you has done to me
Look at my face
See how cryin' has left its trace
After you made me all your own
Then you left me all alone
You made your words sound so sweet
Knowing that your love, I couldn't keep
My heart cries out for your touch
But you're not there
And the lonely cry fades in the air
Love is here
And oh, my darling, now you're gone
Love is here
And oh, my darling, now you're gone
You made me love you
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
You made me love you
Oh, my darling, now you're gone

SEE!!!! AUSSIE!!
Even as a child I so love the Supremes...and this song speaks volume and they are singing with an Ochesra
I had to fix my word Orchestra...Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson backed Diana up very well ...and oh that tambourine
These ladies have sooo much class ❤❤
This was my favourite song during the Easter holidays of 1991 (when I was 17). I remember listening to it over & over, really getting into it, after watching an appropriately moving episode of Butterflies (about the adorable Adam being dumped by his girlfriend Annie). Would you believe, my dear mother came & asked me to "turn it down a bit, please"! She didn't make the connection between the song and the programme we'd all enjoyed together; I was expecting her to remark, "Aawww isn't the heartbreaker a b*st*rd, just like Annie in Butterflies?"
This is a track with Flo!
Beautiful song!!
It was awesome how these ladies formed their trio by one lady knowing another who was friends with the 3rd (Florence knew Mary (who was friends with Diana) - this is what I read!!!!
Hauntingly beautiful - like the song "Love Child"!!
Mary taught Cindy the choreography after Florence Ballard was no longer in the group....
Love this song
Very classy a gem.
1:34 Diana with a lil James Brown action.
😅
The actual audio from the concert would have been better. :p
NEVER! This vid is perfection.
@@monicabella7894 Have you seen the actual concert video? It's much better because they are singing live so you get the spirit of the moment. The actual studio recording is perfection, however. But seeing the original video with original live audio is the closest you'll ever get to experiencing a concert by The Supremes
This does not sound like the live performance of what is seen on the screen.
Anyone know if this is available whole concert
Yes the just look up the Supremes live Concert and it should be Mary cindy and Diana in all the same dresses on the front live in Amsterdam
Heavenly fire
Michael Jackson covered this on his first solo album. He did a great job.
who is singing..? Powerful voice...I have read about Mary's Passing ....RIP.
Sounds like Flo voice I hear. But I see Cindy
You do hear Florence sing in the back ground. They were called the Supremes in 1966 when this song was recorded.
That's a vocal track. Because I hear Flo's vocals in background.
She’s such a ham out front , America fell in love with 3 girls from Detroit NoT Diana Ross !! This performance also after she had Florence booted
You know, I feel sorry for you. Bc either you don’t have access to factual reading material or just choose to be willfully ignorant.
As we all SHOULD know, miss Ross did not have hire/fire power for the Supremes. She was an employee of Motown just like anyone else. As for Flo Ballard, just ask yourself can YOU show up to YOUR JOB repeatedly intoxicated, be occasionally VIOLENT toward you leader and your co workers OR NOT SHOW UP AT ALL, repeatedly and still keep said job?
Get a clue. The Supremes were a BUSINESS that employed several people and kept Motown afloat, if one person is jeopardizing that corporation.. THEY ARE DISMISSED.
Lastly Diana Ross was out front bc that’s where SHE BELONGED AND as a part of the “world” you speak of myself.. I FELL IN LOVE WITH DIANA ROSS as did millions of others.
GET OVER IT
