Hi Phil thanks for your nice comments, most of the video work was on the A9ii with the 70-200mkii the image stabilization in low light on the 70-200mkii is great (setting 1) along with the A9mkiis low light capabilites is a great combination, i have the A9 set up wheres i use memory button 1 set for video, this way i can just turn the dial and ready to switch from stills to video (with my own video settings) but sometimes i need to use the A7r3 with the 200-600mm lens but as you make notice its harder to hand hold them without any movment within the video, tripod is the way to go here but no tripod on that trip, thanks for watching my videos Dean

You may recall me asking you for lots of info on the Sony A7s3 at the beginning of this year, strangely enough, I ended up buying 2 Sony bodies, A7 mk4 and A9 mk2. I’ve got the lens you referred to as well, in fact, for the extra reach and tripod use, the 200/600. I’m very pleased with the A7 mk4 but only still scratching the surface with the A9 mk2, but you’ve given me food for thought on that. The menu on the A7 mk4 is a good deal simpler than the A9, but I’m getting there. It’s great to watch your adventures, I think with continuing health issues my tick list on travelling back to Africa may not happen now, but I remain positive and focused, excuse the pun.

Also can you do Rwanda to trek the Susa gorilla family group of mount Karisimbi in Rwanda’s volcanoes national park and the Nyakagezi gorilla family group of Uganda’s Mgahinga national park along with the golden monkeys and chimpanzees of Uganda’s Kibalw and Budongo forest and Tanzania’s Gombe stream national park when you visit those places?

Spoilt by music - sounds of the bush and particularly the bee-eaters would have been so much better.
