When people make these lists they need to understand that being good in choreography is almost like a requirement for idols. But the best dancers are the ones that can freestyle and choreograph on their own

well sure it's a requirement but that doesn't mean they are all equally good at it. A good dancer does not only freestyle/choreograph, you can easily see their skill and style in Choreos, that's why not as good dancers in groups are put in the back, if you saw them you could definitely see a difference (for example exo: difference between kai and channie). :)
There is alot of levels as far as how well idols execute the choreos, and how high level and versatile those choreos are
I don’t think freestyle and choreography has anything to do with being the best
I think it has to do with portraying the feeling and evoking the right emotions while dancing .. 🤷🏿♀️

Taemin❤ His dance moves & dance feel are not easy to be copied by the others (or maybe people can just simply move like the "movement", but not with Taemin's unique style and vibe or not on point) Taemin's dance has his own color, powerful and gentle, elegant and sexy, he can both kill you slowly or instantly! I think he is the king of performance, ART❤
I personally get my attention captured mostly by;
- Jhope, his moves and presence is insane.
- Lay, he has swiftness and great control with his movements.
- Jimin, shows flawless emotion and executes his moves cleanly.
- Taemin, such a unique style, can legit make clapping look professional
- Kai, intense and powerful, sharp and swift.

Yeah. Jimin has good technical skills ie his flexibility, mobility, stamina and posture. His physical and expressive skills are as equally as good. He's so smooth and elegant with his moves and he has this charisma on stage that attracts people. He's also good at locking, popping and contemporary. Versatility is extremely important. He and J-hope are exceptional dancers amongst their members and in kpop in general.
I think the best dancers are the ones that can freestyle; Taemin (SHINee), J-Hope & Jimin (BTS), Felix, Minho & Hyunjin (Straykids), Euijin & Feeldog (UNB), Rocky (Astro), Lay and Kai (EXO), Hakyeon (VIXX), Yugyeom & Bambam (Got7) and so many more!

I hate it when our fandom mostly is so biased towards literally everything and underrate this talented man . him being the best dancer of BTS is unquestionable , Removed any “ opinion “ when all the members, the dance teacher and Bighit have said he is the Best and u must be blind not to see it ! ( being “best” with who is your favorite style/dancer is totally 2 different things !)
and whatever , in my opinion too , he’s the best dancer of 3rd generation ,, if he was showcased , at least as much as other members and also other on-spot dancers of kpop , people would know it much more and better.

Honestly.... biases down. In no particular order: bigflo's eunjin, jhope,nct's ten,taemin,nct's mark.... are the best they just naturally move to the beat and don't sorely rely on choreography
imo rocky's the most talented (and underrated af) kpop dancer. his style is similar to ten's and jimin's ones, and his dance is graceful and really satisfying to watch

Great list. The ones that stand out the most are *Feeldog, Euijin, Lay, Taemin, and JHOPE* They all have their own styles that are hard/impossible to copy and it never looks forced or rehearsed even if it is. It looks natural and effortless for them and they have charisma.
Even though you could probably do Hoya, Yunho, Jimin, and Eunhyuk's styles if you practice enough, they just have beautiful dance lines and are smooth af. No one could probably look as good copying the same moves.

I know that if you look at their techniques Ten, Taemin and Lay (I was surprised i didn't know he could dance that well) are one of the best ones (imo) but I really like Taeyong's style. He's so sharp and aggressive but also elegant and I feel like his face expressions are one of the best. Dunno maybe I'm biased and being tricked by his pretty face loll

While I agree that all A.C.E members are amazing dancers, especially Byeongi, let's not put down the dancers on this list! Obviously all of them have great techniques and after that it's just down to preference.

For me it's gonna be BIGFLOW 's Eunjin...I mean I always get mesmerized when I see him dance...no one comes near him. The other is gonna be ASTRO's rocky...I've never seen someone as passionate as him, though he's got a long way to go, he always attracts my attention whenever he dances..

Taemin, Jimin and J hope are dancer that have always taken my breath away with the way that they move, especially Taemin. When he dances I get goosebumps, he is a legend for a reason. Everyone here is incredibly talented, even though a few I just skipped cause I got bored.
ATEEZ deserves to be on this list; they were all trained to be main dancer material and can freestyle + their facial expressions are natural, not the type that's 'choreographed' into the performance

My top 5: Eunhyuk, Eunjin, Jimin, J-Hope, Taemin. They all have very distinctive, different styles, they can all choreograph alone and are obviously the best in their groups respectively but also have many solos or entire solo careers or albums/EPs, in the case of Taemin, J-Hope and Eunjin.
