@indiabatson you should review the Noughty to the rescue line + the wave hello cream! It’s my new “holy grail”! It actually is even better (for me) than the deva curl that I was using forever (from your videos) 😍***ps your the only reason I embraced my natural hair! So thankyou!
i'd love to see you review their new curl talk line! the purple and white bottles. Great review! I use the pink shampoo and the yellow leave in on my 2b hair and I really like them so far.
I heard from a curly group that I am a part of that the pink and yellow bottles are the heaviest of the products. There’s a chart, I just don’t know how to attach it. The green and blue bottle are in the middle, and the charcoal is the lightest formula of the products.
The Not Your Mother's products are some of my favorites! I highly recommend trying the blue conditioner (the same line as the mousse), it makes my hair so bouncy and has the best slip of any CG conditioner I've ever tried. I'll have to try the charcoal line and the blue mousse soon.
I would love to see a video of you using the charcoal line and styling with the mousse!! Thank you so much for helping us curlies with your reviews and tips!
Thanks - I had the exact same experience with the pink pair! I am not sure I'll try another line from them, but the black here - and India raving about the curl talk . . we'll see!
Ok, I had to try the nym activated charcoal line purely because of the resemblance to unicorn blood. Haha. I'm waiting for my hair to dry after using this line but I loved the lather and slip and the results so far seem really good. Can't wait to sotc.
I find the NYM Naturals lines -- especially the shampoos -- to be very similar. I actually really like the pink shampoo and conditioner. Sometimes it seems a little heavy or build-up-y, so I'll use the Blue line - Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mousse instead. I agree with your assessment on the Mousse - I can't put my finger on what is great about it, but I always have a good hair day when I use it.
Nice review! I tried the pink and disliked it for different reasons. The shampoo seemed ok for me (first low poo I’ve tried though), but the conditioner made my hair somehow both weightless and limp - not sure of that means it is heavy or what. I have thick/dense 2B hair that was dry before CG, and I have never had a product do that to me before. I do like the pink combing cream, it gives me nice waves. Am wanting to see someone discuss how it differs from the detangler of the same line.
Which do like better, the NYM charcoal line or the Shea Moisture? This cold weather changed my scalp to itchy, oily and dry at the same time and I need to change up my products.
I didn’t like the Tahitian shampoo at first, either. The Tahitian conditioner pairs really well with the Blue Sea Kale and Coconut Water shampoo, if you need something more hydrating.
I love the NYM curl conditioner 😭 I love the slip and use it as a leave in (I never use the shampoo), and it’s so moisturizing! Maybe try it without the shampoo 😋
Do the mousse! I’ve had it for the longest and I’m just getting the hang of getting it to work for my hair but I would like to see how you use it & maybe that’ll work better for me
I haven't tried the charcoal one, but my hair had a totally different reaction to the mango butter curl defining one! I have fine, but dense wavy hair, and I found both products extremely moisturizing, especially the conditioner! But I don't like it that much because it actually weighs down my hair!
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for this!! I have a feeling we have similar hair types and I have been wanting to try the NYM kind because they are more affordable. Love these videos... this is one of the reasons I subscribe to you and like every one of your product reviews because they are so helpful!
yes, i am interested in a video about the charcoal line. Your hair is beautiful. Nezt time you get it trimmed, can you be sure to film it? Thanks Dana!
Hated both of the pink, liked the dark blue shampoo & conditioner, the yellow conditioner as well. Odd that I have heard the pink is supposed to be heavier, but l felt the same as you. Super drying.
@@DanaGagliotti Thats great!! When I use it on curly hair I spray it after I put in my curl cream for some shine and later on in the week I use it to help refresh my hair and it works great to help detangle the tangles I get through out the week. If i'm going to blow out my hair I put it in some leave in conditioner and then spray it liberally through out my hair and blow it out. If I need to touch up with a straightener or curling iron later on I spray some in again.
My wavy curls liked the curl conditioner and the pink curl spray detangler is AMAZING on my toddler daughter's curls. Its like an all in one styler for her and refreshed both our hair like a dream. Never found that kind of slip in a silicone free spray!
Great review! I don't like the pink line either, agree with the shampoo being too drying and I found it heavy. The mousse leaves my hair too stringy. Really want to try the green deep conditioner! Have you ever tried the purple line? I was told it was much lighter amd doesn't weigh the hair down.
Have you tried their curl talk line ??? I LOVE IT
You 2 are 2 of my favorite curly girls!
No I haven’t!! I’m going to try it next ☺️

Dana Marie I love you’re necklace... where is it from?
Please do a video on the Charcoal line! I am interested in how the scalp scrub compares to DevaCurl's buildup buster😊
Anna Hall I’m planning on doing a build up blaster vs build up buster video 😁
Or Briogios very expensive scalp exfoliating shampoo.
i'd love to see you review their new curl talk line! the purple and white bottles. Great review! I use the pink shampoo and the yellow leave in on my 2b hair and I really like them so far.
jesstbeauty I’m definitely going to try those next!!

Julie Burchett I love that mousse! ❤️
Does anyone know how it compares to the mousse from the curltalk line?

Dana Marie I watched it! Thank you so much!! ♥️
That Blue Sea Kale and Coconut Water line has THE BEST conditioner! I adore it
goldie I’ll have to try it!

I feel the same way about the conditioner im trying to make it work but I want to try a different not your mothers line maybe the blue one.
Marianna Niekerk yeah I’ve heard great things about the dark blue line from a wavy hair Facebook group I’m in!
And please do do the charcoal line and mousse video! 😬☺️
“When I don’t want to use any product” 😱 I don’t even know what that means! Lol!
Which do like better, the NYM charcoal line or the Shea Moisture? This cold weather changed my scalp to itchy, oily and dry at the same time and I need to change up my products.
I plan to try the charcoal scrub. I have heard good reviews. Thanks for going over these.

I literally JUST bought that mouse and haven't used a mousse since I was like 12 O.O
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a tutorial on how you apply this mousse!
Madison Caudill yes I definitely will!

Thanks for the honest review! I recommend desert essence or evolvh beauty products.
Laura Jasmin I will check them out, thank you 😊
I love the Coconut Milk & Murula conditioner (light blue bottle). It's amazing, but it can be hard to find. When I see it at my Ulta I buy like 4.
yes, i am interested in a video about the charcoal line. Your hair is beautiful. Nezt time you get it trimmed, can you be sure to film it? Thanks Dana!
Brenda Geier I just trimmed my hair myself and I filmed it, I hope it helps! 😁😁😁
Is the charcoal line curly girl friendly? You might’ve said it but I missed it!

Dar Hendricks by the purple do you mean the curl talk line? If so, I just purchased it to try!
@@DanaGagliotti No, but I would like a review of that line 😊 There is a purple one for volume, I believe.
