- The amazing West Macdonnell Ranges is just a short drive out of Alice Springs. This place is a must see and our recommendation is to stay at the beautiful Discovery Parks - Glen Helen and base yourself there for a night or two just to take in the majestic Glen Helen Gorge in the background. We visit 6 Gorges and then head back to Alice Springs to watch the sun go down from Anzac Hill, very memorable. We hope you enjoy this one.

They’ve built some structure for the kids to hang out on…oh whoops it a heritage building 😂 love your videos and seeing what your up to!
Ha ha thanks Rebekah! Same thing happened at the Devils Marbles, just guessed why they were formed that way... 🙄 thanks for your nice comments, the next video is uploading for Sunday!
Lived in Alice for 2 yr so this brings back memories.
Oh that’s great to hear Robin!
Great looking joint. What is the reason behind the No Drone rule in national parks?
Thanks Colin. From what we’re aware of, drones are banned from National Parks but each state may have their own rules. I believe in the NT, you can request permission to fly at certain places. We may look at that for longer trips.
Apparently USA is the same from a RUclipsr I was watching
Thanks for sharing this. Where did you guys end up staying?
Hi Jen, we ended up staying at Stuart'swell road house. From memory, it was about $20 a night.
