I finished reading this book today! I thought it was great. It’s kind of funny though because off of a website I found, it said (and I was convinced) that it was going to have a strange twist (kind of like “Welcome to Camp Nightmare”). However, the ending to this book was quite normal lol 😂. I found it engaging and enjoyable though!!!!
Finally got a chance to read this book. Must say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It gave off a very Suspiria vibe to me. The kids doing sports the crazy happy counselors and the deformed king jelly jam. Love it.
Great review man! To be honest, I never wanted to pick up that book because of that really creepy dude on the cover lol. I heard from many people that it’s a great one and I love camp books maybe it can turn out be a fun summer read, God willing.

Great review! I am really enjoying this book, I still preferred “The Curse of Camp Cold Lake” I think and maybe even “Ghost Camp,” but the story was interesting, kinda reminded me about “Welcome to Camp Nightmare” without that horrible ending you and I both hate lol but yeah, I’m pretty sure riding in the trailer would be illegal lol too dangerous. Having said that, the trailer scene at the beginning was so goooood! And yes, the cover never made me want to read that book, creepy dude lol. Keep it up!
I read that one a little while ago and I loved it! I love how the story is composed and it's pretty cool, how You can only speculate what is with "Only the Best!" Slogan and it's unpredictable! Love it! 9.5/10 I thought the end was so funny lol 😅🤣
No lie this should,should have been a book to tv like the rest.I remember my friend across the street literally told me she saw the episode.She said its about evil unicorns and killing teddy bears,and i asked her about the buddy the counseler and she said he's actually a killer.I wish i believed her but i didn't but i read the book ROTFL.No tv episode is a huge missed chance to air.This is my 2nd favorite book revenge of the lawn gnomes.God i cannot believe no tv episode,it'll never leave out of my head.

Besides finishing this book, I ended up with a book haul of 9 new books to read. All for 18$ in good condition. 1.) the werewolf of fever swamp 2.) the headless ghost 3.)my best friend is invisible 4.) beware the snowman 5.) legend of the lost legend ( this one I may already have lol) 6.) a shocker on shock street 7.) GYG trapped in bay wing hall 8.) beware of the purple peanut butter 9.) secret agent grandma. Wooo lots of fun. Have you read any of these?
I quite liked this one. It teaches kids winning isn’t everything. It’s all about having fun. What I never got is why can’t King Jellyjam stand his own stench. That’ll be a skunk that couldn’t stand it’s own stench. What was God thinking when he made King Jellyjam?

With that in mind do you think the one with the new cover is the same story if I purchase it or should I continue to look for my copy or see if I can purchase it for cheap on ebay or Amazon. Also do you like me wish that Scholastic still sold these copies like how they did back in the day when each book had a form that u could fill out and get said books or you understand that after awhile these books were not profitable and therefore they had to shut down production and stop making them.

There’s only one JellyJam book, which is good for you, because it won’t be like trying to figure out which Slappy book you’re looking for out of, say, fifteen hahah. You should be good, if you pick up the newer cover. Secondly, they never lost money on the books, towards the end-Stine and Scholastic had a parting of ways with Parachute Press, but they eventually brought him back to make more books in a series called Series 2000, and then again in 2008 with HorrorLand. I remember reading this in elementary school and I really enjoyed it. I'd describe the story as being almost kinda Lovecraftian in nature.
I now have this book. I can't wait to read it. It sounds fun.
