well you should learn about car, because they're awesome, and it's always good to know because then you won't get ripped off by a mechanic when you get a car and if it brakes down. Not all mechanics do that though.

Really the 370z destroys both cars plus its better looking trust me I get compliments all the time with my custom 370z
I do agree the 370 is a good looking car. But you either have to be a fool, blind, or just stupid to think that it's better looking than any of the Z's from the 70's

Stupid Block hater is stupid. Not to take anything away from Chris, but this is nothing compared to a Gymkhana video.
rbeaton16 Mr Block has multiple attempts to make his videos look good. This is just a damn good driver beating on a 280. Im not seeing too many skid marks on the floor either.
Mike Coleman and the ones that are there in this video are consistent, where as ken block has skid marks all over the place, theres even shots where you can see he really fucked up and wrecked the cone or barrier.
lol haters. I'm well aware that Block isn't the greatest driver ever, but I'm also not dumb enough to try and call him out on being a bad driver. Gymkhana videos are on a much larger scale than something like this, you can hardly compare the two. The previous skid marks in Block's video could be there for something as simple as a reshoot, maybe they wanted to a try a different angle.
People like yourselves that do nothing but hate on Block are just straight up stupid, and in many cases jealous. He's no #1, but he's also not the POS driver you idiots make him out to be.

either this guy is an amazing driver or this z has some serious suspension work done to it. my old neighbor was a supra master pretty much that had regular 40k+ clients. he said a problem building all these old cars, like the old celica (which was how this topic came up) is that their chassis can't handle power correctly. meaning everything is kind of off balance if you will. this car was really sticking it to the ground. great build!

digimon916 You can drift anything rwd pretty much , Enough power , Enough grip and some skill. The old celicas drift really well . You can even adapt s chassis Nissan rear suspension pretty easily .

I've had so many dreams that derive from this video.. the 240/260/280 Z cars are some of the most magnificent cars ever made. I'm actually looking to selling my G37s and getting an older Z car just to learn.

If that z hasn't been modified on the turning. How do you drift without power steering? or is it really that easy?
You can drift without power steering.. Once you start moving it isn't that hard to turn, and some even prefer it over power steering. Think of it like this... Your front wheels are on a line (Sort of like a roller coaster). Now, lets say you drift in a circle like the video. You turn into the circle, kick the clutch, and as the rear end slips, you let go of the steering wheel. The front wheels will stay in that position as the car rear end kicks out, and the car pretty much steers itself. Then you just hold the steering lock you need and follow the steering line as needed, making adjustments. You don't have to let go of the steering wheel though (just explaining). As for this car, I don't know about power steering. My guess is no. Better road feedback without power steering, and more fun to some. But, I do't know.
True ^^ BUT he does have a power steering rack on that 280z...
Good to know. xD I've never driven without power steering, and my 240 has 4WS. I'm just going off basic knowledge and what others say. As for the Power steering on the 280, most people probably would have left it off, after the RB swap (If it had it factory).
Steering assist is also pretty good, and just takes some of the musclen' out. while keeping 90% feel for the road in.

Nothing rare about that car. Or swap. Skylines and fair lady zs have shared engines across multiple platforms from the 240z 432 to the z31 rb20det. Rare swap would have been a z car with a vr38dett swap and a 6 speed.

When I got my grade in Network & System engineering and work for like a year I want to make my dream come through and build a 240z with RB26 in it. My passion for cars and especially the 240z is massive. When I finally work and got money I can pursue my dream!

It's an RB25, but for most people it is a Skyline engine since most people don't care about engine denomination codes... so it is a Skyline engine. Period.
