remember, McLaren has some approval input on what Lego creates. so what you see in the final model was approved by McLaren. personally, with so many curves on the actual car, i’m impressed Lego was able to capture most of the details despite the limitations of Lego parts.
my take on the car is -it is not perfect from the doors and to the midt of the bonnet the roof is 1 stud to high the priece is too high 😞 - other vise i am going to buy it
With headlights being the soul of many cars, they really should have made a custom for that instead of those white pieces. My eyes are pierced by that tooth piece.

It's yellow, not orange. Probably because that was the launch colour of the McLaren P1 at the Geneva motor show back in 2013. It also gives us another brightly coloured supercar in this line up of sets.

Try searching for Bruno McLaren P1 on RUclips. His design for P1 front is much better than this official Lego set.
