Nissan Leaf boot locking / central locking hidden features, extra ability, total control from here

There are 2 buttons on the boot release on the Nissan Leaf - many people are only aware of the one you press to open the tailgate - not many have been shown that you can press this same button to open just the bootlid, for putting in shopping etc - pressing the round button to its side will re-lock the car when you're done ...... the added bonus is that the same round button controls the whole central locking system, EXACTLY like the buttons in the front door handles ......

What happens if your keys are inside the car and the car locks itself

The car will not lock if the keys are inside........ ☺️
