I want to sew my own clothing. I have an LSZ and i have no doubt in its ability to sew denim for jeans, but what about wool flannel for shirts? Im considering getting a Singer Heavy Duty simply for button holes.

The Ultrafeed can absolutely sew clothing material including flannel shirts. Depending on the thickness of the material, you might have to adjust your stitch tension and needle size accordingly.
