I'm so glad I gave this game as many chances as I did. Not going to lie the game felt pretty unbearable at first, but now I'm starting to really appreciate that aspect of the game. When I actually do something correctly it feel so rewarding and the game has an atmosphere that just keeps me coming back. Thank you for your guides too I wouldn't have gotten as far as I have with out them.
Just finished Soroboreans DLC without enchanting anything... Now, thanks to your video, gonna prepare myself for Caldera. Thank you for all these guides! You are making my life easier, hehe.
Thank you very much mate. I read the fan-wiki three times and still got not clue how this shit works. Pretty straight forward and "on point" guide. My dumb-ass though purple scrolls were indigrents of enchantments. So glad someone took time to record the process for me to see.
People are complaining about ineffectiveness of the enchantments but some of these seem pretty massive to me... Such as the weightless one which adds attack speed and drops 50% weight on a weapon. Very cool.
try poltergeist on vampiric bow. The vampiric bow's normal ability is better with the raw always being consistent & you can increase the shot speed by not having to shoot a full stamina pull to do damage.
Why don’t they just have 2 transparent rings on the ground showing the distance from the center of the pedestal to each distance required while placing towers?.
or if they think that breaks the immersion, just places in the regions with a stone ground with these lines. Would make sense since you are not the first or only one who ever enchanted a item in this world ^^
Quick tip: Close: 1 step from the center Far: 1 dash from the center If you're having difficulty facing the right direction, equip a bow, and Aim, I do agree on the tip of the previous user. But not to break immersion, do now make it a unique area, instead build it in the map like having corridors that has tiles that are arranged in the same distance as the enchantment. But I am already used to enchanting that I can enchant in Caves/Dungeons to the point I prefer narrow corridors. Makes arrangement simple And trust me, some enchantments can only be done inside dungeons
Rolling once and taking a step or two works for far and the close should be about a step away from the edge of the table walk into the center of the table and boom should work hope this helps 😅
How much is it for close and far? I hate enchanting. Literally everything else in the game I'm fine with, but this feels stupid and needlessly complicated. I'm just walking around following these directions and nothing. I just want to enchant my goddamn sword with Whiplash and it ain't doing shit. And I've completed the main quests and the Sorboreans.
Guys, he clearly stated that he's only explained the recipes you can buy from a merchant. A separate video will go in-depth with all the possible enchantments (of which there's LOTS), because the system is designed for the player to experiment, so C4G wanted to avoid spoilers.
Quite the opposite, in my view. This innovative enchanting system is the reason why I'm going to buy the DLC. I only hope there woun't be any "Skyrim entchantments" possible, like 1-hit-dragonkill-dagger items.
@Legendary Vocalists Enchanting is for strenghtening specific builds in specific ways for specific situations, by the way the entire game is like that, you need multiple characters to be effective in different scenarios(Legacy chests). You basically explained how and what kind of stupid you are.
@@9kArdos3 If you find yourself having to be so pompous about knowing something *so incredibly basic* that you see the need to lord it over someone else and insult them for not understanding it, you probably don't get the chance to chime in often, because *you're more often the one that would sound stupid.* So, this must be an exciting time for you. Hey man. Hope you read this and I'd just like to ask an immersion question because I feel like you're the go to person for this. Hope you see this lol. I've been scouring the internet for how to learn enchanting in outward 'in-game'. Basically an enchanting teacher of sorts. I know how to enchant because of learning about it here and other places. But it's just a peeve of mine having 'wiki-games' and I love outward to death like you love gothic. Like the lack of a Rune Magic teacher even if there literally is already a Rune Magic trainer, dude still won't teach you combinations lol. I just wish everything in the game is something that can be learned in somewhat detail "in-game". Thing is, I hope an enchanting teacher is a thing in a hopefully Outward sequel. I hope they fix this lol. But if there's an enchanting teacher then I stand corrected HAHA
2:55 Wait what? So I set up the front/back of enchanting table inverse to north/south? So I then sort the pillars inversely to the already inverse alined enchanting table? Or sort the pillars regularly to the already inversely aligned table? I'm so confused by your explanation. Can someone please help me?
If game says north, pillar goes north, if game says south, pillar goes south, etc. The positioning of the table isn't related to this, setting it up a certain way is just for preference.
Wait, so if the front of the pedestal is facing south, would that mean a pillar that requires north placement is placed at the front, or back of the pedestal? Nevermind, your example answered my question.
in the definitive version they will random drop eventually anywhere there is a boss mini boss or tough enemies. I have two metalized bones & have not done any arenas at all.
Any idea if I you can still play online coop if only 1 person has the DLC? Or will the additional content be unavailable for both players when playing together?
I m experimenting with hex mage builds. One pyro mage (hex mage, philosopher and hermit). U can get 105% fire damage bonus without armor. Ring of Fire and spark are still ur main damage spells. My second build is a Lightning Based mage. (Hex mage, hermit and merchant). The merchant skill comprehise a bite the lagg of stamina reg when ur very tired. Besides the sigil of wind is Core to cast spark, conjure and the pistole. U can get minimum 60% more Lightning damage without armor. What do u think, any tipps for improvement?
These devs have a lot of interesting ideas. I wasn't sure if I would like this game, but a lot of their design choices add dynamics you don't see in other RPGs, and they usually end up making the game more fun. For instance, I wasn't sure if the magic system would be my cup of tea, but having to make a small journey to unlock the ability makes it feel more special, assuming you didn't just run straight there from the start. On top of that, mana management is far more important, and you have to be little smarter about your magic use.
Would enchanting magical armour or weapons make you lose the original effect. For instance, if you enchanted mertons fire poker would you lose that little bit of fire damage?
@@click4gameplay thankyou for that reply! Okay ill use a different item for an example. What about perhaps a palladium sword? Would it lose the lightning damage it already has? Or I saw you could enchant the ash armour, does this replace the poison defence already on the armour? Also, thanks for the content my man, these are grest videos.
Enchant an iron weapon, rondel dagger, or recurve bow with thirst. It will start of as parched. Once you do enough damage with that weapon, it will become quenched. Take a quenched thirst weapon to a blood altar at night, and you’ll get a special weapon
it makes the raw damage half of what it is after enchanted. I did a vampiric bow which is normal damage is 48 for it. It makes the raw damage is 12 the vampiric bows damage droped to 24. The nice thing is the normal ability on the vampiric bow is now always gaining more that 0.1x blood leach, without having to use up all your stamina for a quick shot for damage.
Whiplash enchantment dont work i tried to enchant starchild claymore for fucking hour and nothing is hapening (I have proper incense and the direction of enchanting table).
Absolutly! I spend 200+ Hours in 3 runs. A the Start the game feels hard and a bite unfair but it makes a lot of fun. The only Point i didnt like so much was the melee combat System. I Wolf recommend to increase ur stamina (in the options: u have 4 options: Low, normal, a bite more (i would recommend this Option) or without stamina cost ( but this breaks the combat System and it s way too easy)
Has anyone been able to make the Adrenaline enchantment work? like, I followed the requirement and nothing happening. does it require a blood sacrifice or something? how do you make this fucking shit work?
I've been sitting here for over a half hour replacing my far pillars to no avail, this is honestly a terrible system. I am about to abandon it altogether 🤬
I love outward but they need to stop adding all this secret, do it yourself, learn by trial and error x9000 degree altitude x latitude fort Lauderdale = equations. LOL like dog 9Dot ain't no triple A to be doing this 🤣 It's simple once you get it in theory but if there was no youtube or internet and we was still in the paperbook guides / call gamemasters era ain't no way in hell anyone is figuring it out.
It's no more complex than the rest of the game, having tons of unmarked areas, characters unmarked on maps, mechanics unexplained that you have to figure out yourself, timed missions that don't say they're timed, and a large etc... I'd say after viewing this tutorial this should be one of the EASIEST things in the entire game for you to do, if you think about it.
