This is not helping the cause they are protesting for. Protesting peacefully is a great freedom that we enjoy, for now, but these group's actions are bordering on domestic terrorism. I'm sure the Jan 6th protestors felt, at the time, that they were doing the right thing. To be clear, I do support peace in the middle east and not Trump's insurrection attempt, but there are some unfortunate parallels where individuals feel their cause is just enough to commit illegal acts and force all people, regardless of their opinion on this topic to suffer.
