Hi Clive yeah just under the 5 litres per 100 KMs for the Beta 390. My friend said his KTM 500 does a bit over 5 as well. Going to go do a more of a cruiser ride and check the Sherco Thanks for watching Regards Steve
How are you enjoying the Sherco? Any update on the fuel range per 100km / tank on the sherco?. I understand both the Beta and sherco are quite thirsty compared to the KTM / Husky 500 due to running lean from the factory. Do you recall what you got from the Beta 390 / 480?
No update as yet. I am riding it in some single trail over the next couple of days and I'll have some more info from that. Will wrap it up into a vid comparing the bikes at some stage Regards Steve
Yeah that is an important question. Most enduro bikes if geared right will sit on a 100kms reasonably ok. The Sherco is the same but with the 480 displacement it does it pretty easy. A little vibration of course and U cop a lot of wind. However with any enduro bike if you pass trucks going the opposite way U have to be careful not to get blown off the road. These are light bikes so trucks and side winds can be a bit of a hazard. Depends how far your going a bit of highway between dirt roads is fine. Thanks for watching Regards Steve
Yeah that is a good question. I cannot remember the 2t Sherco's we've owned had aluminium or composite. Won't be too strong I would think. I'll get back to you....
Interested to see how far you go build wise with this one.
Needs a screen.
Somewhere to put your Waffles sticker. 😇
Like your vids,What sort of mileage were you . getting with the beta. Just bought one and seems a bit thirsty.

Great bike, but with 20 hr oil and filter service intervals it could hardly be called an adventure bike
