your videos are so interesting! its excellent to hear from someone that knows so much about such a wide range of cameras; every video teaches me something new
@@pricklypearcamera These cameras do go for a little more here in the UK. However, there is less supply and they are harder to find so it balances out I guess. I do use ebay gsp and get a few international orders but most within the UK. It's nice to see others in the same business around the world!
Nice box! I have a thing for the Panasonic FZ series, super underrated. They are better than the Canon SX, Coolpix B/P series or anything from Sony IMO. I have the FZ20, 28, 47, 50 and 200. They are excellent cameras and unlike a lot of digicams, still a fantastic value on the used market, although they are starting to creep up in price. I'll buy any that I see at a good price still because I think bridge cameras will be the next ones to start going way up in price. I still cant believe how much some of these ELPH cameras sell for, same price they were brand new like 15 years ago. Good video.
100% agreed Michael! Yeah, it's pretty wild how elph pricing and certain Nikon pricing (like S6900) have just skyrocketed, very speculative and social media driven. I think you might be right on bridge cameras, some of the best values out there IMO.
I have a Sony H20 which is a newer version of that H3 you showed us. Solid plastic body. Excellent telephoto shooter. Even shoots pretty good HD video.
That's a nice lot with good number of Canon's there which means $$$ I just picked up a full set Canon PowerShot S90 like new for 100 Canadian (75 usd) easily double the value in resale. I enjoy picking little bargains here and there on fb marketplace and make a little dollars while having fun, more like a paying hobby not a business as such.
Very nice! How is FB marketplace in Canada? Here in the US, it's gotten to be mainly local stores listing their inventory and not people just clearing out their closet, so it's gotten tougher to find good deals there.
I bought a Leica/Panasonic bridge camera, so I would have something convenient to grab-n-go. It’s got a fairly confusing and cumbersome operation, compared to my Nikon D700, but man, is the image quality just amazing. Plus, having the red Leica badge, is a tiny bit of flex anyway. You’re right about Fuji as well. I have a Fuji XP, that I take kayaking and the image quality is really superb. In the end though, my Leica would be my keeper if I had to keep one…

Kevin - I just found the floppy disc adapter and memory card for my 1999 Sony Mavica. I’m getting a formatting error, but I know the card is good because it works in one of my other cameras. I have a sony cybershot dsc-w350 and the pictures are purple and glitchy, but it's not the screen that's the problem. Do you know what the problem is, and how do I fix it?
Generally that's a failing image sensor, which isn't economical to fix these days (I think there are some videos if you have the gumption, but you have to do a complete tear down to replace).
There are about a dozen online auction sites that I use pretty regularly. From ebay itself to government liquidation auctions to online auction/local pickup only options, some of this will depend upon your location/market. It's a lot of looking and going through dozens/hundreds of listings to find the right handful.
It generally is, yes. Certainly variable depending upon inventory coming in, and Nov/Dec/Jan make up the biggest 3 months sales wise. Summer can be kind of slow.

Is there a reason you use vinegar over rubbing alcohol?
Any acid would work to work the corrosion out, which is why I use vinegar, but you can use alcohol to clean up the area of corrosion after an acid has been used.
I have a sony cybershot dsc-w350 and the pictures are purple and glitchy, but it's not the screen that's the problem. Do you know what the problem is, and how do I fix it?
Generally that's a failing image sensor, which isn't economical to fix these days (I think there are some videos if you have the gumption, but you have to do a complete tear down to replace).
that shirt is hard
where do you find these online auctions
There are about a dozen online auction sites that I use pretty regularly. From ebay itself to government liquidation auctions to online auction/local pickup only options, some of this will depend upon your location/market. It's a lot of looking and going through dozens/hundreds of listings to find the right handful.
Hi! It's me again haha! Do you have affordable nikon/sony digicam for me??
I've got a few I've put up recently, but will be listing more this week! They generally sell within a day or two of me listing.
@@pricklypearcamera what's your ebay account?
SvvissTeLLa !
I do like your sweater 🫶🏻
Thanks! Given how hot it is now in Arizona, I am going to have to retire it until the fall!
Is this a sustainable form of income for you?
It generally is, yes. Certainly variable depending upon inventory coming in, and Nov/Dec/Jan make up the biggest 3 months sales wise. Summer can be kind of slow.
@@pricklypearcamera I dont know old cameras as well as you do but I think I may be able to try this on a smaller scale. Thank you.
