My daughter used to live in Phoenixville very near Valley Forge so we used to go hiking there when I came to visit 🙂 she also took me to historical Philadelphia ❤
THANK you dave stotts for a nice recap on the valley forge event one thing washington did when his army suffered there is he went in the woods near by and prayed for his army,washington was a humble man i remember reading an account of a coloured soilder primus hall who told the general that he was comfortable sleeping on his stool ,but washington insisted that he wouldnt be comfortable until primus was fine so washington moved over so primus could rest next to him on his straw bed and blankett
