Nice video, guys. But you did get a couple of things wrong… 1. The park is a National Historical Park; not a Military Park! 2. Smallpox was NOT a problem at Valley Forge! That is because Washington had the entire army inoculated. This was leading edge medical technology at the time. Other diseases were a problem, however.
In reality there was NO Deprivation ! ARCHIOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION HAS LED TO THE REALIZATION THAT THE COLONIAL ARMY WERE LIVING FAT AS HOGS !!!! The genius of GENERAL WASHINGTON WAS THAT , TO TACTFULLY PORTRAY, TO THE PENNY PINCHING POLITICAL ENTITIES OF THE CONTINENTAL CONGRESS THAT THE ARMY WAS SUFFERING AND NEGLECTED! THIS WAS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE ENDS JUSTIFIES THE MEANS!!!
