I was wondering if the legs can be turned around (facing upwards as they are on the outside of the frame), instead of sawn off, are they easy to remove?
Hi. Thanks for the question. The legs hold the base corners together and are there to provide an anchor. One or two should only be sawn off with a hacksaw if there is an obstruction such as a drain. I wouldn’t advise turning them to point upwards because they could be a sharp hazard to people and pets.
Many Thanks for your quick reply, I was also wondering how much the base sticks out from the main frame and panels ? As I am working around a small obstruction
Hi. I will try to help, there are 3 reasons I can think of without seeing the leak. 1. Have you inserted the top of the window in the roof bar correctly, and does the window overlap the frame at the sides and bottom (think of a roof tile). 2. Is the roof ridge bar sealed against the wall. Metal against brick will leak. 3. Is the plastic panel tight in the window frame on all 4 sides. Hope this helps.
I purchased the Alfordson which is made out of the same materials as this one but mine is 4metres long and 2.5metres wide and is an absolute nightmare putting it together. The instructions must of been written by children and the materials it’s made out of is disgusting. The base is just rubbish (Thin c section Tin) if you have one in an open garden it won’t be there in the morning if you get some wind over night. I highly advise against buying any of these from EBay or the internet, get a carpenter to build you a green house or a steel fabricator to weld you up a frame.
Very helpful, thank you so much for making this video.

The base size on the version in the film is 1900 x 1300 and the door and door track protrude by about 33mm.
Helpful. Thank you.
The window of my greenhouse water leaks runs down from the top do you know why? Thank
