Have you ever reviewed the Mosquito Magnet? It is a lot pricey and I have heard, worth the cost. It is in a category of propane powered mosquito traps that has a very wide reach. Some friends in Wisconsin have one and they swear by it. Just wondering since you do seem to have quite a handle on mosquito-be-gone products.

I have never reviewed one for my channel, but I have owned a few in the past. I personally have never seen them to be all that effective and they are expensive to operate. Some people swear by them, but I have never seen them catch enough mosquitos to make a difference. They do catch some, but if you are still getting bit frequently while outside in their area, what's the point. I bought one that was supposed to be military grade and ran it for a whole season. Still had mosquitos on my porch.

too small. Sad that BugMD associates to a generic bugZAPPER. I know zappers work, a good one uses 120v 60 hz as power and has 6x larger (think, camping lantern) some zappers cost $100, amazon has a $30 version i'm wary of :-\ but bet it works better than 3 volt....
BugMD's original product is a concentrate of clove oil and some farm oil (i think cotton oil but not sure) i know you add water to the concentrate so it must have a soap also or the oils would separate. kills on contact (according to video & testimonies) also spray in drawer & return later

Bug zapper work to kill bugs that are attracted to light. Mosquitos are not attracted to light.

@@nothingbutgadgets yep, Carbon Dioxide is one thing they are attracted to. but something else also attracts them because some people are super bothered by them while others seldom see them let alone have bites. (example my dad seldom bothered, while my mom and I (a male, so not a gender thing) are pin cushions for the buggers

@@qazwiz Carbon Dioxide is what attracts them from distance. Body heat is what attracts them up close. The fact that they seem to go after one person more than another is a mystery that has so many variables, it may be impossible to decipher. It could be down to how much body heat a person radiates, how their body metabolizes certain types of food, the person's PH level, etc, etc, etc. My aunt was a person who was one that seemed to not get bit as much as everyone else. It was a mystery for years. Turns out she put Avon Skin So Soft in her bathwater when she bathed and this was a mild repellant to mosquitoes. LOL!
