The Ditch Life is such a nice deck. I outfitted mine with 56mm Powell-Peralta Dragon Wheels (so I could get more slide action) and Santa Cruz rails and the thing rips up the park and the street. It's my go-to board for almost every occasion.
You definitely post the most consistent out of anyone who does cruiser reviews. Keep it up I definitely want an atv but I think I like the perfecto a lil more
Hi mate. If you want to learn some tricks or ollie try on standard popsicle shape not too heavy. Then after that if you are good you can try on your cruiser board. My first cruiser is a tugboat but I decided to learn some tricks on a standard skateboard. Its easy to slide also. That wheels also are good (ez hawgs) but when you’re on learning process it’s easy to use the standard skateboard for tricks. Keep it up mate. Always take care and skate😊
Also from what I’ve heard the ditch life isn’t the best for tricks because it’s heavy due to being 9.75 wide. The perfecto and classic are a little better for ollies and street skating. I’d love to see a solid review on the perfecto on the current graphics hopefully they’ll release some new options soon from what I’ve been told
The perfecto! Yes 🙌🏽 such a sick board, I’ll definitely make sure I get one very soon. I do have another Landyachtz on the way so I should have a new review up hopefully the board gets here Monday.
I’ve got this exact board. Those wheels will slide but not like a set of 90a mini logos or 92a rictas. They are way faster though. I’ve switched em out with the rictas and the slide difference was amazing. I mainly use mine on ramps and for cruising . Our skatepark is extremely rough. I will say I’ve heard people downing those bearings. I usually use big balls. I think the LY bearings are faster.
I agree. I keep trying to let him know the ez hawgs are just to soft and grippy. The harder wheels will teach him to slide way easier. Unless going down hill at a nice speed to speed check a slide, I don’t think he’s got the right concrete to slide on the harder wheels. I had a set of carver park wheels at 92a and they would slide out easily.
@@johnnyd8024 what size were the carver wheels? I mentioned the yellow orangatangs in 86a bc I can still get them in 65mm any other recommendations around that size? I’ll order a couple sets and unpack and review them online. Again thank you guys for the help and support 🙏🏽🦾
@@MadMaxProductions-sx4hu I think there great wheels you’ve got. I switch mine out depending on where I’m riding my board. If it rough and craggy I use my lil ezs. Personally I think a set of mini logo 53 mm 90a is a good hybrid wheel . They absorb rough streets pretty well and slide and don’t bounce when doing tricks. I’ve also got 92a ricta clouds. There a little rougher on craggy roads but slide very easy. 90 and 92a are still considered soft wheels. I definitely wouldn’t look to replace the ezs . I use mine on ramps often.
@@MadMaxProductions-sx4hu hey, the carver wheels are 58mm 92a. I know you like the bigger wheels but it’s hard to find any 92a in that size. You might have some chances to slide the orangatang 86a fat free. But it’s still going to be hard with the speed in my opinion. If you notice most sliding the 80a-86a are sliding on transitions. If you ever watch regular skate vids everyone sliding is using 99-100a.

You guys are right, I was looking at swapping them out for 65mm fat frees in yellow 86a, do you guys think those would be better?

Is this recommended for my very first board ever? I already own it.
