I’d love to see your bunny shelf, too! Your reference to your sister-in-law’s English accent reminds me of my Aunt Erika, from Germany,. She came home with my Uncle after WWII, and would get a bit tipsy after too much wine and start dancing and singing in German. She’d sway back and forth like conducting an orchestra singing, “Yah, yah, yah, yah!” We thought it was marvelous!
Thanks for these videos on playing cards! It has taken me 3 days to watch/listen to this one. I listen at work when the phones aren't ringing and I am doing things like scanning and copying. It has been so busy this week, that it has taken all week to hear it. Today, I am squeezing you in between Payroll and billing, but I am determined to finish this video!
Wow I 'watched' part 1 & 2 while in the kitchen (with headphones on), making meatballs and cabbage for dinner, buns for the kids lunchboxes, blueberry muffins and chocolate muffins for dessert. You made the two hours fun and inspiriring. Thank you so much. The last two you made, I am going to make something similar for christmas gifttags, cant wait. :) Thanks again
Omg omg omg thank you for this video. I went to my local goodwill store and would have never thought to pick up and look at the deck of French playing cards from 1991with the most wickedly awesome designs.
I moved to Texas a while ago and live in a small room at my daughter’s house. I bought some crafting supplies with me and the rest are in storage. I have been able to some stuff but my supplies are limited. I am really surprised how much I can create with what’s at hand. Good job Gayle! ~ Margie
BREAKING NEWS!! GAYLE USED WATER TO TEAR THE NAPKIN!! 😂😆😂👍 i'm guilty of not remembering to do that. i LOVE using limited supplies, it inspires the creative juices in a different way as opposed to considering ALL of our supplies and saves time. everything you made is so adorable gayle, so fun seeing you use happy mail goodies, that decoupage book from Sammie is such a treasure trove! tfs 😍
Sewing the cards made a huge (and wonderful) difference. Next thing on my list: stop being intimidated by the sewing machine. Don't think there's a video you can do that would help me with that :) While you were crafting, I got busy with my cards and ... enjoyed every minute! Thank you, Gayle. As you said in an earlier comment, it looks like many people were stumped by altering playing cards -- thanks for coming to our rescue!
More inspirational craft pieces, all so beautifully made, Gayle. I've actually made some corrugated cardboard pieces after watching Artymaze. I liked them so much, I made digi prints from them.
Great video, Gayle. Was excited to see what u were going to do with the corrugated cardboard. I use it a lot and like seeing what others do. I would like to see a video on using other distress ink colors for distressing around paper and embellishments. I don’t have the money to get a bunch of colors to play with so I thought if you had a few colors of T H ink you could incorporate it into a journal you are doing.
Love the video. I never know what to put on a Christmas list when the kids ask...now most of your "favorite things" list is going on my list for Christmas. Thank you for the inspiration!
Hello Gayle. Once again another video with so many ideas that make me want to craft. I am off to Britain in August with my sister as my husband does not want to do the long trip again. 21 hours with a short stop in the middle. My son lives in London so it will be great to see him again. I will be away for 8 weeks so I don't know if I will be able to watch you. I may have withdrawal symptoms. Thanks for the inspiration. Cheers Kathie.
Hope you have a great trip, we do have the internet here in the U.K, lol. If u go 8 weeks without watching Gayle that’s going to be some catching up to do!!!!! 😜
You’re awesome, I’m so happy that you put the 360 at hand reach video on your list, it will help me to set up my work area. Thanks Gayle, big hugs, I have a friend from London too, and l love to listen to her. 🤗
I could watch you make embellishments like this all day! They were all so cute but I have a soft spot for Peter Rabbit so that was my favorite. You had a card on your desk that said "What was the biggest contribution of the 70's?" Now I'm curious to know the answer!
I was thinking about the shiny/gloss ploaying cards - what I did was take them outside and give them a bit of a sanding with a sandpaper block to scratch the surface... why outside, fine particles of dust
Thank you for the shout out 🤗. Have you heard about junk journals?? You could make one and use it to put all your notes in for future vids!!!!! Could recommend a super lady in every sense of the word that you could watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She’s cool and very clever at JJ’s. LOL. 😂. Love the british accent, spot on!!!! TFS as always. 😻xxx
They turned out great, love the way you collage! I don't seem to have the eye for it :-( Thanks so much for all your fabulous ideas! Hugs to you until next time! tfs.
Oh my goodness Im so behind on your videos. It's about to get worse too. I'm working on 12 journals for the local woman's shelter and I start a new temporary (hoping it becomes permanent) job setting up our new Hobby Lobby. But I love these card ideas and of course they are added to the Gayle play list for future reference to monkey. I hope you had an amazing birthday. Love and blessings...durinda 🤗🤗💜💜
I can't help but notice how easy it seems for you to use your liquid glue. I have difficulty getting mind to flow so easily and have to squeeze the bottle hard. Is the type of glue you use thin allowing it to flow so easily. Thanks for your help. Oh yes, I wish my collage cards would turn out as beautiful as yours. Love your videos.
Art Glitter Glue is wonderful! If you’re interested in it, you can get it on my website (in the description box below the video) under Gayle’s Favorite Things. ❤️
I think my husband is very upset with you. I'm spending too .uch time in my craft room..you inspire me. I need to pay more attention to meals, laundry and other drudgery. Lol . Thank you!!! Oh, i wen to yard sales, bkth Friday and Saturday and bought designer paper, tons. Most expensive was 4.50 for 12 x 12 pad..never used. Consequently this non talented doodler (me), is one happy wanna be artist..except I have no space to put it.
Gayle; I’ve been watching your altered book video, what circle punch do you use and watch size is that? I looked for it on your favorites but didn’t see it. Thanks!
Gosh Sandra, I have circle punches in a variety of sizes. That video was done so long ago that I don’t know which one it was. Sorry I’m not more help! ❤️
About that "fabric" washi you mentioned... if it's fabric, it's not washi, and should be called fabric tape. Washi is a Japanese paper. Other paper tapes that are not made from washi paper should be called decorative tape, not washi. I've noticed that others are also calling just any kind of tape washi tape, which is incorrect. That cheap paper tape from dollar stores is usually not washi tape, and usually says decorative tape on the label. For definition, see www.mulberrypaperandmore.com/c-158-japanese-washi-paper.aspx as well as others. Washi has interesting history. Love your videos so much! You are very good at what you do.
Aw you’re so kind! I have two videos where I’m in camera. One is Interview with Jen Bishop and the other is the KraftTex booth video from Creativation. 😁❤️
That bunny on the cardboard looks like he's sitting by a fence. So cute Gail.
I didn’t know if I was going to like the cardboard idea. But they turned out adorable.
I enjoy watching your "craft with me" video's, you inspire me to be creative. Thank you!
Just love the idea of limiting your supplies! Love your videos. Thanks Gayle!
Seriously...you are SO patient...and I love your comments as you work.
I enjoyed watching you create with the various items you received. Thank you for sharing your process and great ideas.

Love this! I have been away so trying to catch up on videos.can't wait to see the 360 of your area.
Love those little kid images Gayle they remind me of books and things when I was a child. Beautiful work. :) Amy
What a fun thing to do with card board. I love it all Gayle!!!
So funny, i keep hearing 'happy meal' instead of happy mail, made me giggle

You are so fascinating...... the things you come up from..... my mind I am not sure can stretch that way.
I don't sew. But I really like it when u sew. So pretty
I found the ruby rocket stamp on Amazon
Love them . thanks about the third idea. What happened to that wolden distress. Brush. It was neat. And where did you get it
Just needed a new sponge on it. It came from my friend Chelle. Her husband makes them. She is The RamblinCrafter on Etsy. ❤️
That's an interesting water pen vs brush, do you know what kind it might be?
Another great video. Thank you Gayle. Is the Tim Holtz attacher different from a stapler? Glad I am saving some cardboard.
It just has tiny Staples...thus it’s called the tiny attached. 😁❤️

Great idea! ❤️
Love the English accent lol x
When you photocopy an image out of a book do you have to worry about copywrite laws?
I think you would if you sell it. I only use original book pages in my journals for sale. But....I’m not a copyright expert in any way! ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct that's what I understand, thought I'd just ask! I like to protect the rights of the artists.
