I've seen the performance that night on the show....and i just couldn't find words to explain how warm and so happy i felt after i heard them sing. So beautiful...so intimate
i remember thinking that i didn't like it because i was so used to the Tim and Faith version, but when i heard for the second time i remeber the chill that went up my spine becouse of the passion in it. the vocals are really awesome too
The electricity these two had between them is the magic they projected, they seem to have lost it now that they have gone their separate ways. It's sad since this was beyond excellent. All the best to them and hope they can find their passion again.
Because of another comment on this performance I went back and listened to the version by Tim and Faith. I love this because it is so intimate. Love Josh's soft tremor and vibrato, and Meghans 'Father and the Son need the Holy Ghost 'sends chills up my spine.
i am IN LOVE with josh's voice. i really love meghans voice too. he's got this rough gravelly thing going on that makes my heart beat so fast. and her voice is interesting and unique like nothing i've ever heard, it's beautiful. like i said in love with the voice(s)

They have such stage presence for a young and upcoming group. I hope they are around for many years. Absolutely amazing. Their new song Just By Being You is also incredible.
@killaB14 Tim and Faith have done this song so many times and i love the version he has on his record. it is so much more intimate than the one in concert. I like these two,they are good together,but I am and always will be a tim and faith fan. this song was not my favorite of the McGraws. how can you say they have more soul than the original. that is crazy. oh, well,that is your opinion and you do have a right to it. sorry.

Ummmmmmmm...................NO!!!!! Certain songs should never be remade and "I Need You" is one of them. Dont get me wrong Steel Magnolia have amazing vocals, I just dont like them on this particular song.

these guys are so good,but don't mess with perfection. it is not as good as Tim and Faith do it,but they tried. they are very good singers tho.
