This is one if his dumbest video imo. He's just complaining that people are having fun and making the game better for themselves. If I saw a GD level and then they quit to the Minecraft title screen I wouldn't be like "OMG WHAT GAME IS THIS I THOUGHT IT WAS GD BUT HE'S IN MINECRAFT 😱😱😱😱"

I am sorry, but the resource packs are NOT an issue, I'm just being honest. It doesn't disconnect it, and just gives a slight visual overhaul. For example, if a RUclipsr makes a video on Minecraft with a resource pack, is that an issue? I'm just being honest. I do agree that levels should be "Geometry Dash" in a way, but texture pack give a slight visual difference. The same cubes, spikes, and blocks all the time will get boring (especially when you don't play some of the INSANELY decorated levels, like myself.) Mods are a completely other thing, and I personally think mods should NEVER make a game "too different" if that makes sense. Mods are supposed to change stuff making it cool, but changing the MAIN MENU ITSELF is WAYYY too far. I might just be stupid, but yeah.
This is my opinion and you probably won't agree with any of this, and you can keep your opinion even if we don't entirely agree :)
Mods are meant to test the limits, they should be able to change whatever they wanna change, the point of Minecraftify for example is to be a proof of concept that it's possible in the first place. I saw lower effort minecraft menu mods in the past and felt I needed to see what I could do with 10 energy drinks and a keyboard
something similar is when people show shitty layouts with nothing interesting going on instead of the amazing accomplishments the community has made over the years. It always annoys me when I see one of those hardest level shorts with wave spam, and they haven't stopped (and probably never will)

I think I kinda get what you mean, but I don’t think it’s completely ruining Geometry Dash? I don’t like all these video game remakes either for reasons such as copyright, lack of originality, or whatever you wanna say, but I just find it so freaking ironic that Knobbelboy got copyright struck just for having artwork in his level of a random video game, but now Rob has put official icons from other games and pop culture stuff and people are just pumping out video game remakes like crazy. What a weird and interesting time we live in.

I use trigger mix because it makes triggers more visual instead of different colours. I also use the geodify and gradient pages mods for different backgrounds but everything else stays the same.

I just use menu shaders with a black and white shader along with the Dark Mode METAL pack, then i took the doggie ship and ufo out of the pack just so i can use those icons with the rest of the icons being vanilla gd. i also have my own personal menu music added in, i find it to be more refreshing than the plain old geometry dash look and menu music. :)
