These guys spent so many hours reading the Bible but so easily forgot not to kill someone. Poor Summer.
Yes. What happened to "Thou shalt not murder"??
The Bible is full of murder and genocide, even commanded by Yahweh himself.
1 Samuel 15:3 "now go and strike Amalek, do not spare them, put to death every man woman child and infant"
People will never pass up a chance to dunk on Christianity.
Fanatics always find a way to justify heinous actions. I bet they saw her as an evil influence to the kids so they had to save them by eliminating her
They were studying the Old Testament. Cheating women would be stoned in the Bible days…well probably, I’m not an expert 😅
How do you "unintentionally strangle" someone? That family is disturbed.
Come on. Haven't you read Frankenstein?
@ bossy spaghetti Strangulation does not happen accidentally. It is one of the most brutal types of abuse and horrific for the victim. Ask me how I know.
@@TonyB2279Asshat!!!
@@wendyfaith1048 No I will not. And please keep it to yourself next time.
Jeffrey Epstein was "unintentionally" strangled too.
Imagine thinking you’re going to be a great leader in the church, only to later dump a murdered body at that very church.
Yeah, I’m not Christian or religious but even I find that quite offensive.
He wasn't a great leader, he was a fake "Christian". Disgusting!
Unfortunately I grew up in a very religious area and have seen this with several religious men (not all, but quite a few). The father of a guy I dated was physically and emotionally abusive, everything was done in the name of Jesus Christ, and it's a-okay he pulled a gun on his kids, put holes in the wall, etc. because every Sunday he spends two hours in a church! /s
I don't Imagine you'd be Thinking much by the time you were a Body 💀
@@kristiemiller5406 Like I said: there are too many fake "Christians" around. Please don't even call these people Christians, they are churchgoers or better pew warmers!
Anyone who lies that children have been abused in order to gain advantage for themselves is utterly disgusting. It’s not only completely unscrupulous but undermines the chances of justice in genuine cases.
Yes! As someone who went through the horrible CPS system and having a personal friend who served 15 years in prison for false accusations, yes.
@@mattiemathis9549your friend didn't serve 15 years for false allegations. They are a pederast child abuser.
The dude who touched the little girl my ex used to babysit had a bunch of friends like you saying they were innocent.
😂
Does the irony of kidnapping and terrorizing someone to force them to let their children around you occur to anyone else?
How can you “accidentally” strangle someone with a zip tie
"We just wanted to scare Summer into giving us access to the kids".
Genius
Well she ain't that daft. Suspect Sandy was central to the hairbrained scheme, but cuts a deal for a lesser sentence.
Yeah, I’m sure the kids appreciate their mom being dead. I understand that they gave her a plea deal so she would speak and incriminate the others but 15 years for cold blooded murder because they feel entitled to murder her because God favors them? And yeah, what about those kids? It’s disgusting.
Too bad Sandy escaped with such a light sentence. She should be spending the rest of her life in prison as well. Vile, evil woman. Puts me in mind of Donna Adelson.
She is like Dona Adelson!!
@@haleytruslow7200just not as rich.
She'll be out in a few years, having some nice down time in jail to process things. She'll then rejoin society, maybe find a new husband.
What vile and cruel people. Poor Summer and her children.
A cheater that uses parental alienation🙄.
Not for nothing., vile is an anagram of evil
@@Arcturus549Still not justified.
@@Arcturus549 Firstly, her murderer cheated, too. He had tinder accounts. But he thought he was entitled to it as a male. He even wanted to take a second wife. Secondly, would you want your kids to grow up in this family?
they fell so morally upright that did the worst thing imaginable...
That fits
Yeah that seems the way of self righteousness
Funny that the dad had those silly primitive beliefs and thought he was the big boss of the family yet was clearly a useless provider given they lost their family home. Delusion and hypocrisy.
@@It-is-me...MelsieExcellent point and thank you for sharing it! 🍬

Mom: “We weren’t kidnapping her to kill her. We were kidnapping her to make her more afraid of us, because then we just knew she would want her her children to spend time with us!”😮
Sure mom, that makes perfect sense. Totally believable.
I don’t know how you “accidentally” strangle someone.
Exactly. Every word out of her mouth was ridiculous.
I blame the now dead wife. of all the men in the world, she had to chose the one living in the same house?
@@tarstarkusz He was the only other man she knew because her husband was a control freak and psychopath. She was probably lonely; I can understand it completely.
I wouldn't advise people to do what she did, she should have just left but I don't think in this case it would have made any difference. Her husband himself made it clear: "If you leave me, I will murder you". There was probably nothing she could have done to escape this situation. The moment she became romantically involved with Will, she was destined to be murdered by him because he both makes his partner's life hell and then kills the partner for not wanting to live in that hell.
@@aarondavis8943 Pure speculation. And, none of this stuff surprised her. She knew who she was marrying. Unfortunately, we have such a bad culture that it was constantly telling her she should be single and dating lots of men and not taking care of her children.
Love triangles frequently turn out the way this one did.
And without fail, yet again, I can comment that the victims in this case are the children, who have to grow up without their mom and having this family trauma. This is an ongoing theme and it will be the downfall of society. Almost all corrupt behavior leads back to trauma. No one ever thinks about the children and I'm getting really sick of it 😡
You've become Helen lovejoy

Downfall of society??? Please! 🤣
@@It-is-me...Melsie The inevitable fate of every society is some kind of collapse. Sometimes it's a fast collapse after war or pestilence, sometimes it's a slow corrosion, but eventually it all falls and is replaced.
@@It-is-me...Melsie yes, one day all of these damaged traumatized people will be running the country. "Just wanted to scare her to allow the children to visit..." Grandparents of the Year there. Yikes.
Another example of people using religion to justify their abominable behavior and evil actions. I feel sorry for the children left behind.
A pathological situation (obsessed grandparents, controlling husband, awakening victim) escalated when a catalyst (Adam) appeared.

I can’t think of anywhere worse to be dumped. Her poor family!
What family?
I didn’t hear of any family she had, in this story!!
That’s part of the problem.
@@KaraLey98you don't listen well then, she had parents, children & a boyfriend at the very least. The parents were searching for her when she missed work.
Angela Wagner. Donna Adelson. Sandra Inman. May the good Lord protect us from loving, possessive, monstrous grandmothers. I don’t for one minute believe that those murderers, including Sandra, had intentions of anything other than ending the life of Summer. The murdering MIL should have also have got life in prison.
Her sentence included the possibility of life behind bars. Let's hope the parole board gives her that option.
I actually think her lighter sentence was probably fair; if you think about the views of her husband and how they were passed on to the son, she had obviously been under the same kind of domination and control that Summer was trying to escape from, but in her case for like fifty years. That doesn't mean she wasn't responsible for what she did, but fifty years of abuse will really damage a person. I'm completely willing to believe that her husband and son thought up this plan and she felt like she didn't have a choice about going along with it, because she probably felt like she didn't have a choice about pretty much anything in her life. Victims of abuse go along with what's happening, it's a survival strategy.
@@flingonber Sandra was just as controlling of Summer and was a primary driver in the kidnapping. Suffering in your life doesn't grant you immunity from punishment. You probably want to let child abusers go free because many were abused themselves.
@@sternshadowdude2 No, actually, I don't. And, I'm guessing unlike you, I have actually worked with survivors of CSA (both adults and children) as a mental health clinician. So the first thing that's wrong with what you're saying is that the whole premise is not really true - victims of abuse IN GENERAL are more likely to commit crimes as adults, but the only sex crime that victims of CSA are significantly more likely to be arrested for is prostitution. Victims of physical abuse, on the other hand, are significantly more likely to be arrested for violent crimes in general, and violent sex crimes in particular. So if your dad beat you, guess what? You're more likely to commit CSA than someone who was a victim of CSA themselves.
That aside, what I DO think is that only people who aren't very bright want to see the world in black-and-white terms. Pedos didn't choose to be what they are, and you can have compassion for them and the situation that they're in, ESPECIALLY if they were also victims, and still recognize that they are dangerous and that children need to be protected from them. Just like you can recognize that the woman in this case was broken down from years of abuse and domination and also deserves some compassion. Recognizing the causes and conditions that lead to a particular outcome doesn't preclude seeing that outcome as unacceptable. I'm sure that's way too nuanced for you, though, because it sounds like you're still stuck in the five-year-olds idea of "good guys" and "bad guys".
Too bad that they weren’t thinking of the 3 children involved. They have lost both of their parents and their paternal grandparents. No matter what their mother did, they certainly don’t deserve such suffering
So, in the Bible, adultery is a sin, and why an adulterous wife gains so much sympathy? What they did to her was wrong, but what she did to them was also very wrong.
What do you disagree with in my comment? I feel terrible for the children involved. They still ask about their father and paternal grandparents. The adults involved in the murder plot have done extensive damage to these poor children. They don’t deserve it
And yet, you seem to have no compassion whatsoever for a mother, a woman, who was treated as a slave by her own husband and inlaws. And then murdered and dumped in a septic tank.
Did it ever occur to you that her "wrongdoing", her affair, was actually an attempt to escape an intolerable situation of coercive control and objectification?@@samb4697
@@samb4697you’re being obtuse on purpose. at the end of the day, if you’re religious, only god casts judgement and we don’t have the right to do that - but the family are a bunch of narcissists and thought otherwise. additionally, planned murder is so clearly miles worse than adultery.
@@samb4697Jesus Christ!! The woman suffered an abusive marriage and constant harassment from her in laws and finally escaped with the help of a kind man.
Of course cheating is wrong but under the circumstances I understand why she left the way she did because she felt it was safer. She was of course proven right because the lunatics kidnapped and killed her!!
Who gives a shit what you consider a ‘sin’?
This woman lost her life and those kids lost their mother. I hope they suffer every single day for what they did to those kids.
God help your spouse if you have one, sounds like they need it if this is all you have to say about this tragedy.

It’s truly scary how people have all these strange and abnormal ideas in their minds - like the mother who wanted to control the young family, like the husband who wanted multiple wives, etc - they all needed to seek psychological help at some point, but they chose murder. This is so sad
Accidentally strangled Summer with a zip tie? How can that be an accident?! 😮
If youre going to blame Summer for "taking the kids away," why not blame her mother-in-law for trying to take Summer's children away?
Aside from preserving her own life, that's a huge factor in why Summer left.
I think for April 1st you could evaluate Sméagol/Gollum.
It's nice to see a traditional family and their values.
A Grandmother desperate to believe that her grandchildren are her own, that in itself is weirdly, dangerous thinking to me. Could be the 'side effects' from being attached to a 'hostile' man, plus a son who is the evil clone of his father!
This man threatened to murder his wife, and there are really men's rights activists in the comments saying "You cant blame him! She left and took the kids!"
Right, because daddy murderer would be safe for them.
All these people have to do is look two hours west of where this happened to see another man who was like Will, a man who controlled his wife, and who threatened to kill if she left him--Chad Doerman. And that's what he did. Three people dead.
And let's not forget the family tried to get Adam arrested on false claims of child abuse. But we're supposed to be upset with Summer because she didn't want her children around them? We're ignoring the fact that he straight up lost custody?
Men having rights is a good thing.
@@emperorpalpatine9841
Men have always had rights.
Where in the world were Summer’s parents and her family in all of this?
It’s always sad to me to see a young girl fall into the clutches of some young guy that she dates who has very little education --and it happens before she’s even had any education, other than high school-no college, no professional education?
This class of people use a small non denominational church as their “university”?
Then something awful like this happens, and she seems not to have a family around her who supports or who is even heard from in this story.
What happened to her parents and family? They never visit or are heard from?
I was wondering the same thing. It's as if she was swallowed up by his family and had no one to help rescue her from their suffocating clutches.

That poor girl... especially when she had three children that needed her. Such extreme hipocrites her in-laws were! It's unfathomable that they used the Church and Bible as a refuge for their evil deeds. I would hate to think where they're going.
Religious people seem to be disproportionately represented in the criminal population. At least judging by Grande's case list.

@@firelordplayz I mean I'll be the first one to denounce cheating, but it sounds like she didn't exactly consent to the relationship, considering she was staying under the threat of murder. She wasn't a wife at that point, she was a prisoner.

Dr. Grande, checking YT for your latest video is one of the high points of my day. One case I'd be interested in seeing your take on is Gia Carangi; I think both her true story and her portrayal by Angelina Jolie could benefit from your insight
Cheating is never a good idea, regardless of circumstances. If you're unhappy and don't want to be in a relationship, leave it. Also, never be violent against someone who cheated on you. Leave them. Let them fend for themself. Politely leave and let karma take over.
Those who have a passing understanding of felony murder statutes understand that all three were guilty of murder regardless of intent.
This leads to some interesting outcomes. For example, if Summer had strangled Will Jr in the back seat, her act would have been in self defense. Yet both parents could have been convicted for first degree murder.
The reason this is so is because the death of Will would have happened during the commission of a felony, that is, kidnapping.
''He unintentionally strangled her''.

Someone cheated? Get a divorce. The moral response. You would think that Bible loving people would be familiar with the “1st Commandment.” Thou shalt not kill.
I wonder why they didn’t use the Bible as justification for their LYING? Their God hates 7 things, among them LYING. I’m pretty sure murder killing is frowned upon, too, since Jahwe decided it was important enough to be included on those stone tablets Moses brought down from the mountain.
